William Tanuwijaya
North Sumatran native from Pematangsiantar city, William Tanuwijaya, holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Bina Nusantara University. After graduation, he worked as a software developer in various companies. In 2006, he joined the content provider company, PT Indocom Mediatama, as an IT and Business Development Manager; where he met co-founder Leontinus Alpha Edison and future Tokopedia investor Victor Fungkong.
When Tokopedia merged with Gojek in 2021, Tanuwijaya remained as Tokopedia’s CEO.
