He was an industry researcher at Taikang Asset, an investment manager at SDIC Fund Management and Vangoo Capital Partners. He has investment experience in diverse industry sectors like healthcare, TMT and advanced equipment manufacturing.

Founded in Chicago in 2011, Hyde Park invests in Midwestern US and occasionally Canadian startups from early-stage usually through two investment rounds across tech sectors.  It currently has 62 startups in its portfolio and has managed 12 exits to date. Its most recent investments in January 2021 include Canadian e-commerce site BlackCart’s $8.8m Series A round and US podcast database Podchaser’s $5.7m Series A round. In November 2020, it invested in real estate productivity software NestEgg’s $7m Series A round. 

A Cambridge-based investor, founded in 2006, that exists to support spin-off companies created at the city’s university with an emphasis on social impact.  It currently has 57 companies in its portfolio, almost entirely in the areas of life and physical sciences, which have, in total, raised over £2bn in further investment and grant funding.Its most recent investments include in the June 2021 £3m seed round of Gallium Nitride semiconductor engineering company Porotech and in the January 2021 $20m Series A round of quantum computing innovators Riverlane. 

SVB Financial Group has been involved in Asian markets since the early 1990s and in the Chinese market since 1999. For more than a decade, SVB has been building relationships with technology companies, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to help clients work with businesses in Asia and sell to a variety of foreign markets. SVB established its first China subsidiary, SVB Business Partners Shanghai, in 2005 and its second, SVB Business Partners Beijing, in 2010. One of the world’s oldest venture capital firms, Greylock Partner was founded in 1965 in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Bill Elfers and Dan Gregory, and later Charlie Waite. It has offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Wellesley and over US$3.5 billion under management. Focused on early-stage startups, Greylock has backed more than 120 profitable M&As and more than 170 IPOs, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Workday.

Founded in Moscow in 2021 by Sergey Azatyan who has worked in investment banking since 1999, Inventure Partners currently has nine portfolio companies across diverse market segments in Europe. In March 2019, the VC took a stake in the €5m Series A round of German car-sharing platform MILES Mobility. Inventure joined Refurbed’s $17m Series A round in March 2020 and also in the Series B round in August 2021. Two investees, insurtech Lemonade and medtech Amwell, were listed via IPO in 2020 with Lemonade reported to have achieved the strongest IPO debut in 2020 for a US company. The newly-formed VC has also successfully managed five exits: Busfor, fogg, Getgoing, 2can and Netology. It also partially exited Gett.

Established in 2016, LEADx Capital Partners is a German-based VC and is the investment arm of major retailer METRO Group. Since its founding, the VC has invested in 36 different companies, with a special focus on European retail, the same sector as METRO Group. It has already had one successful exit, the M&A of GuestU, which provides free internet to tourists. LEADx was the lead investor in the €18m Series B round of online printing marketplace 360imprimir, known as 360 Onlineprint in markets outside Iberia and Latin America.

He worked at IBM’s laboratories for more than 9 years, primarily focusing on cloud computing. After leaving IBM, Huang started QingCloud with two other partners to further pursue his vision of cloud computing.
