Joan Oliver Malagelada is an engineer with a PhD and experience in microsensing and ultra-low power electronics. He is a co-founder of AEInnova and currently serves as its R&D manager and advisor. Since 1990, Oliver has been a physics professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Pau Vaquero Pérez is a Spanish Telecommunication engineer and currently CTO and co-founder of Proppos FastPay an intelligent self-checkout solution powered by computer vision which caters to the food services industry.Prior to Proppos, Vaquero worked as a specialist at Apple and software engineer at Napptilus Tech Labs in Barcelona.

Beijing-based Telescope Investments is a VC/PE firm, investing primarily in consumer, supply chain, education, and healthcare sectors. Telescope is founded by Du Yucun, former CEO of Tianjin HomeWorld Group, a Chinese supermarket chain, and SAIF Partners. Du Yucun is the son of Du Sha, one of China’s most well-known and respected entrepreneurs. Du Sha is the founder and chairman of Pacific Links, a former acclaimed Professor of Economics at the Nankai University, and founder of HomeWorld Group. Yucun, former CEO of Tianjin HomeWorld Group, a Chinese supermarket chain, and SAIF Partners. Du Yucun is the son of Du Sha, one of China’s most well-known and respected entrepreneurs. A pioneer of China's IT industry, Zhu Min founded Cybernaut in 2005. To date, the firm has invested over $10bn in Chinese technology companies through 70 funds, in addition to another $10bn jointly managed with its partners outside China. Cybernaut also has about 20 startup incubators (Cybernaut Internet+) across China. Zhu studied at Stanford University in the 1980s and founded web conference solutions provider WebEx Communications Inc., which went public on NASDAQ in 2000, before being sold to Cisco for $3.2bn. 

Paundra Noorbaskoro established Growpal, an investment crowdfunding startup for the aquaculture and fishery industry, after being inspired by his experiences as a student in Indonesia and Hawaii. Equipped with a degree in Aquaculture from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya, Paundra serves as the company’s Chief Product Officer.

Kevin Lee is an ex-Googler and co-founder of Ajaib, an online investment advisory startup. In 2016, he graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s in computer science. Upon graduation, he joined Google as a software engineer with the Google Assistant development team. Two years later, he joined university schoolmate Anderson Sumarli to establish Ajaib.

Jordi Romero is a co-founder and CEO of Spanish human resource startup Factorial. He is a computer science engineer who is a partner at Itnig, a Barcelona-based venture builder. Romero was previously CTO and VP for business development at Redbooth, a cloud-based SaaS project management tool that facilitates collaboration and communication between teams. 

Antonio Tripiana Caballero worked for almost two years as project engineer at the Signal Processing for Communications and Navigation (SPCOMNAV) research group at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).The Department of Telecommunications and Systems Engineering project was part of Tripiana’s master’s degree in Telecoms Systems Engineering during his university days from 2011 to 2016. He also completed a one-year exchange program at Finland’s Tampere University of Technology.Tripiana worked as a freelance full-stack developer in Barcelona during his studies. He worked for four months as a scientist at Barcelona’s Mobile World Capital to develop a cloud-based GNSS receiver for IoT devices with ultra-low battery consumption. He also spent five months testing receivers at the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Netherlands.In 2018, he co-founded Plant on Demand (POD) as the startup’s Solutions Architect. He took on the full-time role of CTO during 1Q2020.

Shahriansyah Candraditya graduated in 2015 from the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies, Japan, with a degree in Corporate Communications. He returned to Indonesia to join Shinwa Nonwoven Indonesia, a Japanese-owned fabrics manufacturer. He subsequently left to co-found aquaculture investment crowdfunding platform Growpal, where he is currently CMO.

Raka Kurnia Novriantama is an information systems graduate from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya. He joined aquaculture investment crowdfunding platform Growpal as CTO in 2016 while still reading his degree. He left Growpal in early 2018 to focus on his role at software development house Berry ID, where he is an executive director.

Yang Guang studied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2010. He returned to China in 2010 and worked at Deloitte from 2010 to 2013, China eCapital Corporation from 2013 to 2015 and Meituan Dianping's strategic investment unit from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he co-founded Waterdrop and is now the general manager of Waterdrop Insurance Mall.

Established in 1987 by the National Economic Commission and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as the Foundation for Economic Development, the renamed CAS Investment Management Co., Ltd. was transformed into a limited liability company in 2006. It has invested in and made profitable more than 300 technology projects.

Rodolfo Guichón is a computer engineer, mentor and associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2013, together with his master's degree students, he co-founded Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry.  He had previously co-founded Avant Trade Network in 2008. Guichón is a graduate of Spain's IESE business school. 

Anderson Sumarli is the CEO and co-founder of Ajaib, an online investment advisory startup. Anderson worked at JP Morgan and IBM before joining the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as well as a bachelor’s in finance from Cornell University. He met Ajaib's two other co-founders during his time at these institutions. 

In 2011, the China Culture Industrial Investment Fund was founded by the Ministry of Finance, BOC International Holdings Limited, China International Television Corporation and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd. It has RMB 20 billion in assets under management. The fund has invested more than RMB 3.5 billion in 40 startups and projects.
