Ben Soebiakto first became an entrepreneur in 2005 by founding the Octovate Group, a tech incubator for the creative industry. Joshua Kevin is one of the youngest active Indonesian startup founders. Prior to graduating from Universitas Bina Nusantara in 2013, he had worked briefly at East Ventures and Tech in Asia where he was involved in various startup-related events. After graduating with a degree in Information Systems, he founded Bridge Inc, a consultancy that helped startups to expand into Indonesia. The business was later pivoted into Talenta to provide B2B human resource management software solutions.

In 2013, it launched eFishery, an automatic feeder system for aquaculture farms. In 2017, Gibran’s achievements earned him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of notable Asian figures.
