Discovery Nusantara Capital is a venture capital firm with a focus on video gaming and related industries. East Ventures co-founder Willson Cuaca graduated from Bina Nusantara University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He worked at Singapore-based Red Sentry, a cyber security and network performance optimization company. In 2010 he co-founded East Ventures, a seed-early stage venture capital firm. That same year, he also co-founded Apps Foundry, a mobile company that developed the e-reader app SCOOP, among other things.

Sudarmin Then started his career as a game developer with fellow university alumnus Kris Antoni in 2009. They started to create free-to-play Flash-based games under the banner of Toge Productions, which has now grown into a full-fledged games development and publishing studio. Sudarmin studied games development at Murdoch University, Australia, graduating in 2007. He also enrolled at Indonesia's Bina Nusantara University, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Multimedia Studies.

The Business Administration graduate worked as an insurance agent for Prudential Life Assurance while still at Universitas Bina Nusantara in Indonesia. After graduating in 2005, he worked as a cost accountant and inventory manager for almost four years at a food packaging company PT Anta Tirta Kirana. He later worked as an area sales manager at PT Indo Pangan Nusantara for another four years until May 2015 when he left to join Wedlite as a co-founder. Wedlite is now part of the bigger Taralite fintech.

North Sumatran native from Pematangsiantar city, William Tanuwijaya, holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Bina Nusantara University. After graduation, he worked as a software developer in various companies. In 2006, he joined the content provider company, PT Indocom Mediatama, as an IT and Business Development Manager; where he met co-founder Leontinus Alpha Edison and future Tokopedia investor Victor Fungkong. When Tokopedia merged with Gojek in 2021, Tanuwijaya remained as Tokopedia’s CEO.

He has been running the company since 2005, providing various software development and digital consultancy services. In 2017, Defendy and colleague William Lamuda decided to develop ZendMoney, a remittance service for Indonesian migrant workers that would use an e-wallet concept. Defendy continues to run Winning-Soft concurrently with ZendMoney, with Winning-Soft providing development support to ZendMoney.
