Deutsche Telekom is Germany's largest telecoms company, with operations in over 50 countries and more than 178 million mobile customers. It is a major investor in tech companies and has managed more than 20 investments and seven acquisitions to date. Its most well-known acquisition is teleco operator T-Mobile for €828m in 2014. Recent investments include HypeLabs' US$3m seed round and the €6m Series A round of automated IoT platform Axonise.

Investment banker Miguel Haupt is a managing partner at London-based investment company Opinmaco. He was previously the MD at both Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in Zurich. As an angel investor, his only disclosed investment to date is the seed round of Spanish femtech WOOM in 2018.

Amir Amiruddin graduated from Erasmus University in the Netherlands in 1994 and the University of Western Australia in 2011. Amir was formerly the managing director of AAA Securities, a director at Deutsche Bank Singapore and the managing director of Nomura Singapore. He is currently a partner at business and management consultancy Pascal Capital Asia in Singapore. Amir became a co-founder of Investree in October 2015.

Former banker Leslie Lim is Singaporean and holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Business Finance from University College London. As an undergraduate, Leslie was on the Dean’s List and graduated with first class honors, and received the Goldsmid Sessional Prize for Mechanical Engineering. He met Cicil co-founder while pursuing an MBA at INSEAD. Prior to co-founding Cicil, Leslie had worked at Barclays, HSBC, BNP Paribas Securities and Duxton Asset Management (Deutsche Bank Group).

With an educational background in finance and business, Xu spent seven years working in investment banking upon graduating from Columbia University in 2005. She worked at Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Capital in Hong Kong, where she helped major Chinese e-commerce companies such as Vipshop, Moonbasa and Alibaba with their overseas IPOs, among other financial needs. She is a CFA Charterholder. Xu founded Shanghai Qiansong Internet Technology Co., Ltd., the parent company of MSParis, in 2014.

Design and internet whizz and millennial. Known online as "Flypig”, this Nankai University graduate was half of the duo that produced Fanpo (Antiwave), a podcast series on foreign and Chinese media that won the 2005 Deutsche Welle's Global Best Podcast. Lin was also chief designer and founder of design brand Da Code; was responsible for launching Youku Buzz marketing programs targeted at Western advertisers and internet users. In 2009 he joined e-retailer startup Light In The Box, which later went global and got listed. In January 2015, he left the position of vice-president to start Fork.

Tim Hart is an investor and consultant at Charlotte Street Capital, focusing on early stage and general tech businesses. He became a non-executive director at Nixplay and Creedon Technologies Limited in 2017. He joined the advisory board of Chorus Intelligence Ltd in 2016. He has acquired a wide range of finance and trading experience since 1989 when he started work as a junior trader at James Capel.  He has also served as VP at Robert Fleming, a director at Merrill Lynch and MD of Deutsche Bank.

David Comellas Vogel was the first investor in AEInnova, where he is currently CEO and Managing Director. Comellas started his career as a manager at Caixa Catalunya bank and then as a senior consultant at financial advisory firm Qualinneo. He continued his finance career at Deutsche Bank and as a consultant in Insights Business Partners until 2017.  As a partner at Blocktac, Comellas has been an investor and serial entrepreneur, while also assuming the role of advisor and partner at Happy Customer Box. Comellas holds a master's degree in banking administration from Barcelona's Universitat Pompeu Fabra and is also the Vice-President of Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell. 

Founded in 2017 by the ex-COO of Deutsche Bank Henry Ritchotte, Ritmir Ventures is based in London and has invested in nine companies internationally. Ritchotte is passionate about digital innovation within the banking sector and established Ritmir specifically to invest in fintech startups during the seed and Series A funding stages.

Industrial business entrepreneur Jasper Holdsworth comes from a multi-generational family of cattle ranchers. In 2013, he became a director of his family’s 100-year-old Paringahau Farm Company in New Zealand. He also co-founded a virtual fencing startup for livestock management, Vence Corp, with US-based investment banker Frank Wooten in 2016.After graduating in forestry engineering in 1995, Holdsworth obtained a master’s in engineering management at his alma mater University of Canterbury. In 1998, he completed a master’s in applied finance at Macquarie University and started his banking career at WestLB and Deutsche Bank in Sydney.He completed an entrepreneurship development program run by MIT’s Sloan School of Management in 2010. He has also undertaken an advanced management program run by Harvard Business School in 2012.Since 2004, he has been working as the CEO of New Zealand-based Pultron Composites Ltd, an industrial technology company focused on the development and manufacture of glass fiber-reinforced polymers.In 2019, he became the chairman and co-founder of Mateenbar Ltd to produce composite reinforcement for infrastructure building materials in New Zealand, North Carolina and Saudi Arabia.
