Armed with Asian and European experience, Miguel Amaro co-founded Uniplaces in 2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nottingham, and took a course in Chinese Studies at East China Normal University. He obtained his master’s in Management, with a focus on Global Entrepreneurship, from Babson Graduate School. Amaro also spent two months as an analyst at Grameen Bank in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Serial entrepreneur Afrig Wasiso is the co-founder of the Inspira Group, a constellation of SMEs that he and his associates established from 2012. Wasiso started his entrepreneurial journey after graduating with an MBA from Osmania University, India. He started with Super Cover, a business that produced protective cover cloth for cars and motorcycles. As the business grew, Wasiso continued to establish other new SMEs in his native Yogyakarta, placing them under the umbrella of Inspira Group. Prior to establishing equity crowdfunding platform Santara, he founded photo printing service ID Photobook and continues to serve as its CEO.

The success of his Assistant Nurse Vocational Training Center motivated him to consider setting up an online nursing services agency to provide employment for the local graduates, nurses and other healthcare workers. The young entrepreneur, from Ngawi Regency in East Java, invested IDR 50 million to launch Insan Medika in 2013. He became the CEO of the newly incorporated PT Insan Medika Persada in December 2015.

He has extensive experience in the adtech and digital media as the former CEO of ad network Adstars and as ex-chief commercial officer mSTARS (PT Antar Mitra Prakarsa).
