Sofian Hadiwijaya is a co-founder of smart retail kiosk startup Warung Pintar. Despite not having completed his undergraduate industrial engineering degree due to financial difficulties, Sofian was already a programming instructor during his early college days at Bina Nusantara university and later became an market analyst for international cement company Holcim. Sofian was a co-founder of both IT consultancy firm Crazy Hackerz and online lending and pawnshop Pinjam and has worked for startups KUDO and Nodeflux.

Pablo Flores Peña pursued his undergraduate and master’s studies in aeronautical engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. On graduation in 2005, he joined the Airbus Group where he is currently the chief engineer for the A320 jetliner family. Besides his work at Airbus, he also founded Drone Hopper and became its CEO in 2015. He received the 2017 award for aeronautical innovation from the Official Spanish Association of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE) for his work at Drone Hopper, a startup dedicated to the design and manufacture of self-guided drones for fire extinction and large crops fumigation.

With a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Salamanca, Emilio Galán is an experienced software engineer. He has worked as a developer at various companies including Telefónica for over three years, before joining GPM group’s Gestores de Proyectos Multimedia as a business manager in 2007.Galán and Rubén Sánchez Martín left GPM in 2012 to establish Beonprice. Both co-founders have completed business courses including an MBA from the European Business School of Madrid, the Ignite Programme at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge UK and the Endeavor Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures program with Harvard Business School.

Daniel Sánchez is an IT engineer with a Computer Science degree from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He has over 10 years of experience working as a systems analyst for companies like Accenture, Vision IT group, Alten and Isban in Spain and on projects in Italy, Ireland, Germany and the Czech Republic. In 2013, he founded GetYourCause.com, a crowdfunding platform for social causes. He was also a teaching professor of the Influencers Campaign Management and Brand Ambassadors program developed by the USJ in collaboration with Socialnautas. In 2014, he became the CEO and co-founder of Influencity.

Guillermo Lamelas Nogueira is a telecommunications engineer who is the co-founder of Alén Space and of which he has been CEO since 2018. His previous experience in the telecommunications sector and in international startup acceleration include HTI & Berren AG in Switzerland and Karlenkaski, OY in Finland. Lamelas has also held various managerial positions at Telefónica de España S.A.U. from 2000 to 2015 and had established Impact before joining Alén Space. Guillermo studied at Spain's Vigo University and graduated with an MBA from INSEAD in 2006. He has also participated in two expert programs on cooperation and development and the Internet.

Osvald Martret is the chairman of Drivania Chauffeurs co-founded by the Martret brothers in 2001, now transformed into Drivania International with operations in Europe and the US. In 2001, the Martrets also established mobility venture builder Camina Lab in New York.Martret graduated in Nautical Science at Barcelona Polytechnic University and has a master's in International Transport from Pontificia de Comillas University in Madrid. He worked as a transport manager at MAXAM that transports dangerous substances and was operations manager at shipping agency Transcoma. In 2016, he became co-CEO of Shotl, another Martret transportation startup in Barcelona. 

Daniela Seixas is the Portuguese-born CEO and co-founder of Tonic App for medical doctors, where she has worked since 2016. She co-founded the company with three fellow students at IE Business School in Madrid during MBA studies in 2015. She was also a neuroradiologist in the Portuguese hospital Vila Nova de Gaia until 2017, when she dedicated herself full time to Tonic App. Seixas is additionally an independent expert on ethics and scientific evaluations at the European Commission and an affiliate professor at the University of Porto, where she studied for a PhD in Neuroscience and lectured in medicine.

Before co-founding Ximalaya with Yu Jianjun, Chen Xiaoyu worked as an investment director at one of Thailand's largest conglomerates, Charoen Pokphand Group, in its China office. There, she supervised the Group’s investments in internet startups. With seed funding from the Group in 2009, Chen and Yu Jianjun founded their first startup, Na Li Shi Jie, building online virtual city maps. Though the business failed after two years, they utilised the rich experience they gained and founded the much more successful Ximalaya in 2012.

During his time at Telkom University, Muhammad Mufid Luthfi was an active student; with internships at startups like Tokopedia and Kitabisa, as well as student ambassador roles with Google and Mozilla. In 2015, he co-founded two businesses: Rias Pesta, a wedding services firm based in Riau, and IDCloudHost, a web hosting service startup.Mufid graduated in 2016 with a degree in Information Systems. He is also a trainer at Google Indonesia’s GAPURA program and a business development advisor at Gamebrott, a gaming news portal.

Kaesang Pangarep is a vlogger and serial entrepreneur who first became famous through his YouTube vlogs, which sometimes involved his father, Indonesian president Joko Widodo. Kaesang had previously run his own fried banana business, Sang Pisang, before establishing home chef meal service Madhang in 2017, where he is chief marketing officer. Kaesang is concurrently the CEO of SKI Capital Partners, which provides funding to F&B startups and is a fourth year marketing student at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Tyler Skelton is the CPO and co-founder of pioneering circular economy B2B asset reuse platform Rheaply, where he has worked full-time since 2016. Before that, he worked at online mortgage company Guaranteed Rate as a senior designer.  He has also worked as a designer or tech engineer in several other Chicago-based startups including Palantir.net, The Nines and Analyte Health. Skelton also worked in marketing and design early in his career. He hold’s a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications: Design and Production from Indiana University Bloomington. 

Calling himself a serial entrepreneur, Edy Sulistyo has created and sold three tech startups. Founded in 2009, the event management platform eEvent was sold to US-based EnvisionPoint in 2013. Revenues were mainly earned from events held in USA. He also sold OW.com to Telepathy Inc and Kamus.net to Stand4 LLC. Other internet companies he built included FilesUpload, guestHub, Parking-Hub and CircleMail.Edy graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering at the Ohio State University. He is also the managing director of S3 Tech Alliance, a startup incubator in Ohio, USA.

Founder and CEO of Meowcard, Larry Wang (Wang Lei) was born in 1991. After graduating from college in 2011, he joined a startup where he headed design and marketing. He also designed more than 10 WeChat mini programs*. Wang started Meowcard, a mini program-based social community for cat lovers as a hobby and it went viral.[1] *Small mobile apps (under 10MB) that can be downloaded and run within WeChat.

With over 15 years of experience in the financial services, CFA professional Unai Ansejo Barra is a fixed-income fund manager at a government employees’ pension fund Itzarri EPSV. He is also a lecturer in risk management at the University of Basque Country, with a PhD in Finance and a Physics degree from the same university.He entered the tech scene in 2014 as co-founder and CEO of Bewa7er, an online platform to promote the economic rights of startups. He also co-founded the automated investment manager platform Indexa Capital in 2015.

Kenneth Shaw is a serial entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in the USA and Indonesia. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Information and Computer Science, he founded ExpiTrans Inc, a B2B payment processing company. Shaw left ExpiTrans in 2010 and moved to Indonesia the following year before assuming the CTO position at social network Multiply.com in 2013. In 2016, while still based in Indonesia, Shaw established Brankas, a new payment processing platform for startups and other businesses.
