Bernardus Sumartok loves travelling and is determined to achieve his dream of running a tourism enterprise. He studied computerized accounting at Universitas Bina Nusantara (Binus) and had worked in various IT and sales management roles for over 10 years.He founded Presentonomics in 2009 that operated successfully for over five years as a presentation designer. But his online tour agency Flamingo Travel lasted for just over a year when he only had IDR 1 million left in his bank account and was struggling to pay his employees in 2012. Undaunted, he co-founded another tourism website Tripvisto in April 2014.

Indra Rukasyah is a co-founder and CTO of Kostoom. He is currently also working as an IT officer at PT Surya Nugraha Nusantara Finance.Indra has been involved in running several businesses with his wife Putry Yuliastutik. He was a co-founder of Bigalia, an online marketplace for heavy equipment in Indonesia that was set up in 2015. Besides Bigalia and Kostoom, he had also worked as a graphic and web designer at another joint enterprise iP Logo Design. Like his wife Putry, Indra was also a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Indonesia.

At the age of 19, Alvin Yap started his first business while studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. The retail venture for customized phone screen covers was dissolved after one year in 2005. The young business student had also worked at McDonald's, becoming a crew leader within the first year in 2001.During his national service as a platoon sergeant in 2008, Alvin and friends often joined and won several business enterprise competitions. Alvin went on to set up mobile games portal TheMobileGamer that lasted for over six years until April 2015. Laku6 was established a month later.
