Having earned his master’s degree in Optical Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, Lin received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. In May 2008, he joined NEC Labs America, where he performed research on machine learning and computer vision. In November 2015, Lin was made director of Baidu’s Institute of Deep Learning. In March 2017, he was promoted to head of Baidu Research. Six months after being promoted, Lin left Baidu to found Aibee.

Fransiska Hadiwidjana is a young technopreneur and coder. The graduate in Informatics Engineering is a co-founder of AugMI Labs in USA that won the Thomson Reuters Data Prize at the MIT US$100K Entrepreneurship Competition in 2013. While developing Uniplaces, he was an entrepreneur-in-residence at Picvic Labs (France), Zhejiang University Innovation Institute (China) and Osram (United States). Amaro is currently part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers.

This is a US drug development startup dedicated to brain diseases, where Abella gained knowledge of computational neuroscience. He also holds a first degree from the University of Oviedo in Biotechnology.
