Known online as "Flypig”, this Nankai University graduate was half of the duo that produced Fanpo (Antiwave), a podcast series on foreign and Chinese media that won the 2005 Deutsche Welle's Global Best Podcast. Lin was also chief designer and founder of design brand Da Code; was responsible for launching Youku Buzz marketing programs targeted at Western advertisers and internet users. In 2009 he joined e-retailer startup Light In The Box, which later went global and got listed. In January 2015, he left the position of vice-president to start Fork.

An ex-Rocket Internet’s Lazada Indonesia manager, Riky Tenggara is pursuing his lifelong dream to be his own boss. The graduate in Information Technology at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia is no stranger to the startup industry.Riky was previously a business development manager and the head of sourcing at Lazada before joining aCommerce as a senior product manager. He started out as an internal auditor at Indofood and later became a business strategy analyst. Calling himself a serial entrepreneur, Edy Sulistyo has created and sold three tech startups. Founded in 2009, the event management platform eEvent was sold to US-based EnvisionPoint in 2013. Revenues were mainly earned from events held in USA. He also sold OW.com to Telepathy Inc and Kamus.net to Stand4 LLC. Other internet companies he built included FilesUpload, guestHub, Parking-Hub and CircleMail.Edy graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering at the Ohio State University. He is also the managing director of S3 Tech Alliance, a startup incubator in Ohio, USA.

After his first startup (selling high-end organic food) failed after six months, Liu founded group-buying site Wowo (aka 55tuan), now Nasdaq-listed, which he sold it in 2011, to refocus on farm products. Liu majored in astronomy and holds a master’s from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where his research areas included spaceflights of Chinese space program Shenzhou 6 and 7. He was born in 1982 in Shandong and goes home every year to help work the land.

Liris Maduningtyas graduated in 2014 with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She had worked as an assistant teacher for a program run by the university and Schneider Electric. After finishing her final year project at Chevron, she joined Schlumberger as a field engineer stationed in Riau, Indonesia. Liris left a year later to join fellow UGM graduates to establish electronics startup Atnic. Liris managed the marketing and financial affairs of Atnic that created Jala for shrimp farmers, and was promoted to CEO of Jala in 2018.

Later, he co-founded Youdao, a new online education startup under the Nasdaq-listed NetEase group. By the time he left, Youdao’s user base had grown to the hundreds of millions. Wu had begun to familiarize himself with investing when he was an undergraduate and started to invest in the US stock market around 2010. Investing in the US stock market was very complicated then and in 2014, he decided to build his own service to make investing easier.
