Co-founder and President of Chinapex. Tiger Yang attended high school in Singapore  and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Political Economy. Before co-founding Chinapex, Yang managed multiple internal data analytics projects for clients such as Microsoft. He was nominated for the “Innovative Leader of the Year Award” by China Internet Weekly in 2017.

Olinggha Pigavetta graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, with a bachelor's in Japanese Language and Literature in 2013. Upon graduation, he worked at airport services company Jasa Angkasa Semesta in customer relations and as a translator for Japanese passengers. In 2015, Olinggha became a web designer before co-founding Halal Local, a travel listing and utility app for Muslim travelers, where he is currently its head of development.

Zhou graduated from Nanjing Forestry University with a bachelor’s degree in Automation in 1998. Upon graduation, he worked for Michael Weinig, a German woodworking manufacturing company. After four years at Michael Weinig, he became its youngest ever manager for the Greater China Area. Zhou and his team have been working in robotics R&D since 2008 and founded UBTECH in 2012.

Titonius Karto is a former real estate investor who lived in the United States for 15 years. He established Ku Ka, an online marketplace for quality local products, after returning to Indonesia. Titonius holds a Master of Global Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.

Sofia Lu graduated in Information Technology in 2012 at Bina Nusantara University. She has also worked as a teaching assistant and researcher at the university during her degree course. In July 2013, she joined online travel agency Tiket.com as a lead developer. In 2015, her passion for books eventually led her to become the CTO and co-founder of Storial, a digital storytelling portal for writers.

A 15-year veteran of the gaming industry, Dong Yupeng served as VP of product development at the online game developer, Locojoy, where he was in charge of operations for many mobile gaming products including I’m MT, Genghis Khan and I’m MT 3. In 2018, he founded Beijing Code View Technology, which launched Reworld in 2019. He is now responsible for operations and marketing at Reworld.

Hu worked at Alibaba for six and a half years as product director.

Peter Windischhofer graduated with a management degree in 2012 at Vienna University of Economics and Business, including a stint at the University of Hong Kong. Student internships included various roles at McKinsey & Company, Perella Weinberg Partners, Realtreuhand and Raiffeisen Bank.In 2012, he joined CUDOS Group and worked for over a year as a business analyst in Vienna. In 2013, he met Refurbed co-founder Kilian Kaminski during a master’s program run by Hult International Business School. Both men worked in China while studying international business. Windischhofer spent six months running an online “TripAdvisor” review platform for Chinese language schools in Shanghai.In October 2014, Windischhofer joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant working on digital marketing and product development projects for marketplaces and e-commerce companies in Europe.In 2017, he left McKinsey to co-found Refurbed with Kaminski to build an Amazon-style marketplace for refurbished electronic goods. The idea was inspired by a personal experience when Windischhofer bought a used smartphone after seeing a classified ad. The phone stopped working after two weeks. The incident prompted him to create an e-commerce platform specializing in selling quality refurbished e-products with carbon-neutral credentials like planting a tree for every sales transaction. 

Joshua Errett graduated in philosophy in 2004 and completed a postgraduate degree in journalism in 2006. He also completed an MBA in entrepreneurial and small business operations in Indiana University in 2015.In 2004, he co-founded Torontoist.com, a media website that attracted thousands of views per day. He left the startup to join New Brunswick Telegraph Journal as a reporter for one year before becoming digital managing editor for NOW magazine. In 2013, he went on to work for three years as a senior producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).He met Shannon Falconer at a cat rescue project in Toronto. The two pet owners co-founded the biotech Because Animals in 2016 to create more sustainable food for dogs and cats. Errett worked as a marketing manager at Equitable (EQ) Bank before working full-time as COO at Because Animals.

Ex-Goldman Sachs and McKinsey employee Adamas Belva Syah Devara (known as Belva) holds a double degree in Business and Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where he graduated with honors. He was one of eight from Indonesia selected for full scholarship throughout his study. While studying at NTU, Adamas won triple gold medals for topping his cohorts academically for all four years of study. He graduated with an MBA from Stanford University and an MPA from Harvard University.

Star Wars fan and robotics engineer Gonçalo Cabrita was the CEO and co-founder of agtech CoolFarm for over three years until September 2018, when the company became insolvent. He has a master’s in Automation and Robotics from the University of Coimbra in Portugal. He was a research engineer at his alma mater's Institute of Systems and Robotics for two years until 2011. Since then, he has been working on his PhD, researching plume tracking and odor source detection algorithms for mobile robots.

Waldo Hartanto graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Finance in 2012 at Boston College, Wallace E Carroll Graduate School of Management. After graduation, he worked as an equity research analyst at Mandiri Sekuritas for seven months and later joined Rothschild's global financial advisory team in Jakarta.In January 2014, he moved to Singapore to work for one year at Heritas Capital Management as healthcare investment analyst. In 2015, he became the managing director of Wahyu Abadi, an Indonesian business process outsourcing company. His younger brother Walton is also at Wahyu based in Jakarta. In April 2018, both brothers co-founded Elio to focus online healthcare for men.

Alejandro Wonenburger García came up with the idea for Plant on Demand (POD) during a research project for his joint master’s degree studies in Finland and the Netherlands.He specialized in International Business at SeAMK (Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences) in western Finland from 2013–17. He was based in the Netherlands during 2015–16 to read Strategic Management and International Business Management at Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences in Limburg. He speaks six European languages including Dutch.Since 2018, the Spanish co-founder of POD has taken on the roles of project coordinator and chief commercial officer. The POD agrifood marketplace and online management platform is specially designed for the needs of small-scale farmers.

Founder and CEO of Chinapex. Jimmy Hu graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. Before founding Chinapex, Hu built internal marketing analytics for clients such as Microsoft and was the China and Asia big data and AI market advisor for the Gerson Lehrman Group, among other US financial institutions. In March 2017, Hu was included in the “Forbes China 30 Under 30” list.

Founder and CEO of Duozhuayu. Wei studied International News at the Communication University of China. After working as a director for Beijing Enlight Media, she worked as a market executive for several well-known Chinese internet companies. Wei gained expertise in community building at Zhihu.com (the Chinese equivalent of Quora) and insight into the second-hand market at Xianyu (a second-hand trading platform backed by Alibaba). After resigning from Xianyu, Wei started Duozhuayu.
