Ex Co-founder and MD of Valuklik
Former Rocket Internet man Liviu Nedef is a digital marketing veteran. Liviu attained an MBA in 2012 at the IE Business School of Madrid in Spain. He is now based in Singapore as the regional head of digital marketing for HOOQ, a video-on-demand service, in November 2016. HOOQ is a joint venture comprising Singtel, Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers with offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India. He had briefly joined Valuklik as co-founder and managing director, before moving to Ensogo as its regional Head of Marketing for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong until October 2016.

Grady Laksmono is a seasoned software engineer. He holds a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in USA and has years of experience in web development and software engineering under his belt. In 2011, he co-founded trueRSVP, a tech-based event management company where he served as CTO for a year. After working as a software engineer for over four years at three companies, he finally left online game company Zynga in 2014. He became a co-founder and the CTO of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia in April 2014 to launch a mobile point-of-sale service platform.

He also acquired two MBAs from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and the London Business School. In 2014, he decided to establish PT Kudo Teknologi Indonesia with fellow UC Berkeley alumnus Agung Nugroho.

After graduating with an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University in the US, Sean DeWitt became a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later worked at the US Department of State and the Fund for New York City.In 2007, he joined the nonprofit Grameen Foundation that was established by Grameen Bank founder Muhammad Yunus. As part of the nonprofit, he helped Aldi Haryopratomo establish the social enterprise Ruma. DeWitt currently works for the World Resource Institute. He also holds master’s degrees in Development Finance and Environmental Economics from the University of London.

After working as an analyst in Germany for eight months, he moved to Indonesia to join Foodpanda as head of Sales and Operations until February 2013. He co-founded Lolabox, a beauty box service that was shut down after one year due to procurement problems in 2014. He then worked at Monk Hill’s Ventures as an associate for a year before leaving to become a co-founder of Fabelio in 2015. He is also an Endeavor entrepreneur.

After graduating with a bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2001 from Cornell University, USA, Furia worked as a programmer for Oracle for three years.In 2004, he returned home to work at Indonesian bank BCA and AIA Financial. In 2013, he joined PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk and was part of the co-founding team that built the company’s new tech subsidiary that was later branded as Travelio. He left Travelio in 2016.

He worked in Boston at Stroud Consulting before returning to Indonesia in 2014 to work for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).He left BCG in October 2015 to develop new products and corporate business for online travel agency Traveloka. Vita later became a co-founder and public relations guru for Botika.She is also currently involved in other businesses including Kontraksi Nyaman, a mobile app that delivers Gentle Birth hypnobirthing programs. She is also a managing partner at Six Senses Restaurant and building design and developer Zona Bisnis Indonesia. She also works to promote hardware products for Best Retail Supply firm.

After finishing her final year project at Chevron, she joined Schlumberger as a field engineer stationed in Riau, Indonesia. Liris left a year later to join fellow UGM graduates to establish electronics startup Atnic. Liris managed the marketing and financial affairs of Atnic that created Jala for shrimp farmers, and was promoted to CEO of Jala in 2018.
