He returned to Spain and started Abendium in 2011, an import and export business between Spain and China. He also established travel agency Aledasia in 2012 to market luxury trips to rich Chinese tourists. The Spotahome idea was resurrected by Artacho in 2014 after working in a property company in London.

In 2005 he became its COO.  In 2006, he co-founded online travel site Tuniu with Yu Dunde, a friend from university, and worked as Tuniu's COO. In 2014, Tuniu was listed on NASDAQ and three years later was ranked first in market share among similar sites in China. In the third quarter of 2017,  Yan resigned from Tuniu after the company announced that it had made a profit for the first time. In November 2017, he co-founded Blackfish Technology and became its CEO.    

David Conde is a serial entrepreneur from Galicia. He holds an executive MBA, a Fintech certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and participated in the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Program.He was one of the first European financial planners in Spain and is well-recognized in the financial sector, having over 10 years of experience in private banking roles. In 2015, he co-founded Senseitrade, a revolutionary technology that captures sentiments about the stock market from social networks, predicting stock exchange evolution with a success rate of 87%.Since 2017, he has been CEO and co-founder of Coinscrap, an app that facilitates micro-savings by rounding up purchases made with credit cards to the nearest euro. 

Silicon Valley-based investor Sapphire Ventures was formerly known as SAP Ventures, the investment arm of the software giant SAP SE, until 2011. It typically invests in mid-stage startups with at least $5–10m in annual revenue across market verticals, geographies and technologies. It typically invests $10–50m (with the flexibility to invest less or up to $100m) as part of its initial investment. With approximately $4bn in assets under active management and more than 50 startups in its portfolio at present, Sapphire has also managed more than 35 exits and 20 IPOs.  Its most recent investments include co-leading the $153m Series D round of workplace skills training platform Degreed in April 2021, and, in March 2021, it invested in two new unicorns. He is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a member of the IEEE’s Algorithmic Bias Working Group.His previous background involved working in academia in various posts. He spent five years at the University of Coimbra, where fellow Feedzai co-founder Nuno Sebastião was once his student, and occasionally taught at the US Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to these, he was a research assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the US.Bizarro holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Success stories funded include Masmovil that has grown into the fourth largest telephone operator in Spain.

Founded in 2011 by Cyril Ebersweiler, partner of the venture capital firm SOSV,  HAX has grown into the world’s first and largest hardware accelerator. Founded in Nairobi in 2017, Chandaria Capital invests in African tech and non-tech startups across market segments. It currently has 13 companies in its portfolio. Recent investments include Kenyan diagnostics medtech startup Ilhara Health’s $3.8m Series A round in 2020 and $735,000 seed funding in 2019. The VC has also joined the seed investment round for Kenyan food and beverage startup Savannah Brand in 2019.
