Olinggha Pigavetta graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, with a bachelor's in Japanese Language and Literature in 2013. Upon graduation, he worked at airport services company Jasa Angkasa Semesta in customer relations and as a translator for Japanese passengers. In 2015, Olinggha became a web designer before co-founding Halal Local, a travel listing and utility app for Muslim travelers, where he is currently its head of development.

Bernardus Sumartok loves travelling and is determined to achieve his dream of running a tourism enterprise. He studied computerized accounting at Universitas Bina Nusantara (Binus) and had worked in various IT and sales management roles for over 10 years.He founded Presentonomics in 2009 that operated successfully for over five years as a presentation designer. But his online tour agency Flamingo Travel lasted for just over a year when he only had IDR 1 million left in his bank account and was struggling to pay his employees in 2012. Undaunted, he co-founded another tourism website Tripvisto in April 2014.

Between 2010 and 2014, he sold SIM cards and cellphones to foreigners, while being engaged in an export-import business. In 2015, Senoyodha pursued a master's in Advanced Computer Science at Manchester University, UK before returning to Indonesia a year later to establish Astrajingga, the app development startup behind travel listing platform Halal Local.

Nurma Larasati studied Data Communications and Networking at Multimedia University, Malaysia under a full scholarship, graduating in 2014 with a bachelor's degree. She was a research scholar at Multimedia University before returning to Indonesia at the end of 2015, before establishing Astrajingga, the app development company behind travel listing platform Halal Local. Nurma is pursuing a master's degree in Software Engineering for Financial Services at Leicester University, United Kingdom, while concurrently holding the position of CTO of Astrajingga.
