Jiang Tong obtained bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University and Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University between 2011 and 2016. Upon graduation, he joined a robotics startup founded by a team from Zhejiang university, Shanghai Seer Robotics Technology, working as an algorithm engineer from 2016 to 2017. He then joined Bumie Tech in 2017. He specializes in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and location algorithm. Jiang now serves as CTO at Onesight. 

Headquartered in Hong Kong, Valliance Asset Management is a hedge fund manager founded in May 2019.

Andrew McCollum is CEO of television streaming service Philo and was also one of its earliest investors. Prior to that, he was one of the co-founders of Facebook. He served as an entrepreneur in residence at two of Philo’s investors, the US-based VC firms New Enterprise Associates and Flybridge Partners, and is also an early-stage angel investor himself.His last disclosed investments were in 2015, in US-based unicorn Diamond Foundry, the first certified carbon-neutral lab-produced diamond manufacturer, as well as in breastfeeding app Moxxly’s undisclosed seed round prior to it being acquired by Medela.

Lewis Dunnigan is a researcher turned entrepreneur based in Australia. After earning a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and working as a researcher at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, Dunnigan returned to Australia. He had a brief stint as a visiting researcher and earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide.During his PhD, Dunnigan was a part of Philip Kwong’s research laboratory. His PhD project involved developing a system to generate activated charcoal and renewable energy from biomass. In 2017, Dunnigan, Kwong, and fellow PhD student Ben Morton decided to commercialize this technology and established a spin-off company called Bygen, which developed a low-cost, novel way to make activated carbon more sustainably using various forms of agricultural waste. Dunnigan is now the CEO of Bygen.

Bao holds two bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Communications Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He worked as an associate at Morgan Stanley's Global Capital Markets business unit from 2011 to 2015. Bao then worked as an investment associate at Chinese group buying website Meituan-Dianping from 2015 to 2016 and at Legend Capital from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, he co-founded Huajuan Mall and has since served as head of strategy.

Based in San Mateo California, KBW Ventures was founded by HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud. The asset management firm’s CEO is also the chairman of KBW Investments that was founded in 2013 in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).KBW Ventures is part of the KBW Group and mainly invests in companies involved in sustainable food, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies and fintech. In 2019, the VC had already invested in 24 companies in sectors like e-gaming, drones, e-commerce and plant-based proteins. Recently, it also increased its stakes in two Californian biotechs BlueNalu and TurtleTree Labs. The aim is to open up the Middle East markets to global tech companies.

Nitesh Kadyan (also known as Nitesh Kumar) is a computer scientist, robotics engineer, inventor, maker and hacker. He was one of the three co-founders of Graviky Labs, a startup producing ink from captured carbon emissions. He worked at Graviky Labs from 2016–2018, during which he led its hardware development and prototyping. Currently, he works as a senior creative technologist at Lowe's Innovation Labs India.Kadyan holds a degree in computer science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore and did a research stint on AI and robotics at Freie University, Berlin. His background includes expertise in machine learning and embedded systems. Kadyan’s past projects include self-driving model cars, autonomous smart wheelchairs, an augmented reality interface for laser cutting, as well as machines that sketch and draw. He also founded a startup that does 3D printing in nearly any material, from plastic and metallic clay to chocolate, playdoh and fabric, and which was incubated at MIT Global Startup Labs 2014.Kadyan was named one of Foreign Policy magazine’s Top 100 Global Thinkers in 2016. He is a recipient of the Campus Diaries 25 Under 25 award, and is a two-time speaker at TEDx.

Founded in 2016 by Gary Schefsky, New Luna Ventures focuses on sustainable investments in diverse sectors including agriculture, food tech, precision farming, materials, real estate, renewables, water technology, communications, SaaS, AI and robotics. Schefsky has worked in emerging startup sectors for over 25 years and as a family office fiduciary for more than 17 years. Based in San Francisco, the firm’s limited partners include family offices, institutional investors and individuals.

Security Trading Oy is a Finnish investment company located in Helsinki generating a turnover of $125m in sales. The firm recently invested in the biotech material startup Infinited Fiber, along with Adidas and Invest FWD A/S, which is BESTSELLER’s investment arm for sustainable fashion. Security Trading Oy was part of the Kone Corporation group that was re-organized by the Herlin family, with Antti Herlin as the controlling shareholder in 2005.

Startmate is an accelerator program for tech-enabled Australian and New Zealand start-ups. It also operates a seed fund backed by venture capitalists and established entrepreneurs. The organisation was established in 2011 by Niki Scevak, founder of Blackbird Ventures, and a team that included the founders of Australian enterprise software company Atlassian.  Since its inception in 2011, Startmate has invested in more than 150 startups with a combined valuation of more than A$1 billion. Startmate runs two accelerator cohorts a year, usually from January–April and July–October. This accelerator program is open to a wide range of entrepreneurs, from idea-stage groups and pre-Series A startups, to solo founders and complete teams. Companies participating in Startmate’s accelerator program each receive A$75,000 from Startmate’s community of mentors, in exchange for 7.5% equity. In 2019 Startmate launched a dedicated Climate Cohort, which runs parallel with the standard program and focuses on startups in cleantech and climate-tech. Startmate also runs a First Believers program twice a year, which trains future or aspiring angel investors from Australia and New Zealand by building their confidence and networks and refining their investment strategies. Liu Xi holds a doctoral degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He participated in the development of Apache Spark, an open-source cluster-computing framework. He used to work at Conviva, an American company offering solutions for online video optimization and online video analytic. There, he developed a system for big data analytics applicable to video streams, which has been used by TV networks, such as ESPN, HBO and China Central Television. His research focuses on cloud computing and big data analytics for video streams.

Eulàlia Sánchez is co-founder and Chief Science Officer at medtech startup Biel Glasses, which pioneered a solution that lets people with low vision lead independent lives. She is also a professor of Optics and Optometry and an expert optometrist at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), where she has worked for the last 30 years. She is also coordinator at the Low Vision Research Unit at the university's Vision Center. She holds a master's in Optometry and Vision Sciences from UPC. 

Founded by Hillhouse Capital in February 2020, GL Ventures mainly invests in early-stage startups from diverse sectors like pharmaceutical, SaaS, internet-based consumption/technology and emerging consumer goods/services.The RMB/USD dual currency VC-arm of Hillhouse currently manages total funds worth RMB 10bn from limited partners including university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, FOF and family offices. The VC has made nearly 200 investments in its first year of operations.

Tony Fadell is the inventor of the iPod, co-inventor of the iPhone, and former CEO and founder of Nest Labs, which was later acquired by Google. He is also an angel investor and head of Paris-based deeptech advisory and investing firm Future Shape, which has over 200 companies in its portfolio and a focus on issues like the electrification and digital connection of things, biomanufacturing and the eradication of waste. Fadell has invested in at least 10 startups, with his most recent disclosed investments having taken place in 4Q20. These included his participation in the $7m seed round of London-based consumer technology and conceptual design house Nothing, the $45m Series B round of US biotech firm and vegan leather maker MycoWorks, well as the $31m Series A round of video call effects and presentation tools company mmhmm.
