The IESE BAN was formed in 2003 by a group of angel investors and entrepreneurs bringing together both alumni and non-alumni of the IESE Business School. It creates and manages deal flow for investors while establishing synergies and collaboration among the network's members. It counts on more than 250 active investors financing technology startups in Madrid and Barcelona. To-date, IESE BAN has invested more than €50m in over 220 startups. It is also part of ACCIÓ’s Network of Private Investors, which fosters technology innovation and startups’ growth in Catalonia.

Francesc Riverola is a business angel and the chairman of FXStreet. He launched FXStreet in 2000 while working as an e-Research Manager at PwC and at the IESE e-Business Center. He was CEO of the worldwide forex reference portal until 2012.He is also an investor at Lanta Digital Ventures, a Barcelona-based VC for early-stage startups in Spain and Europe. Born in Palo Alto in California USA, he moved to Barcelona as a child. He has an Economics degree from the University of Barcelona and a PDD in management development for company directors run by IESE Business School.

Rodolfo Guichón is a computer engineer, mentor and associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2013, together with his master's degree students, he co-founded Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry. He had previously co-founded Avant Trade Network in 2008. Guichón is a graduate of Spain's IESE business school.

With over 20 years of experience, Fortuna is currently Procurement Director at Tecnica Reunidas, an international general contractor engaged in the engineering, design and construction of oil and gas industrial facilities. Fontana is a former co-founder and ex-CFO of Parclick, a parking reservation app.

Ben is also a non-executive board member of Bedec Pte Ltd and Indoseaweed. Having studied at the IESE Business School, the industrial engineer from the University of Michigan became interested in helping SMEs to raise much needed finance through P2P microloans. PT Lunaria Annua Teknologi was established in 2015 and the P2P platform Koinworks was launched one year later.
