Co-founder and Partnership Executive of Bobobox
Hafidz Syahrial established the capsule hotel startup Bobobox in 2018. After earning his MBA in 2016 from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia Hafidz joined the business development department of budget hotel network ZEN Rooms’ before becoming its City Manager for Bandung. In 2017, he also co-founded Muslim App, an Islamic information app.

Ahmad Qois started developing an idea for a capsule hotel that was to become Bobobox in 2017. While still studying for his Communications Management degree at Universitas Islam Bandung, Indonesia, he also co-founded DAPP Indonesia, a Bandung-based men’s fashion brand. He also briefly worked for Mengundang, a startup that produces customized wedding invitation websites.

Agung Mahesa Yudhistira is an Information Systems graduate from Universitas Bina Nusantara, Indonesia. After graduating in 2016, he joined PT Lapi Divusi, an IT development and consultancy company, as a Quality Assurance engineer. He assumed the role of systems analyst at the company, but left in 2018 to start Bobobox, a capsule hotel startup.

After a brief career in banking, Spencer Deng co-founded the logistics robotics startup Dorabot and became its CEO. The economics graduate from Sun Yat-sen University was an associate at JP Morgan before joining UPS, where he rose to become a manager for the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Dorabot in 2015, and was featured in Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 in 2017 and 2018.

Following internships at Accenture and EDP, he worked at EDP as an IT business analyst and project manager. He later joined INOV INESC Inovação as an associate researcher and worked there for more than three years. Oliveira also has a postgraduate qualification in Foresight, Strategy and Innovation from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management.Oliveira met José Paiva at the Startup Lisboa incubator. Oliveira had founded an event management startup Entrepreneurs Break and had also established the now defunct booking site Oops!Booking in 2012.
