AngelClub is a capital management platform co-invested by co-founder of Tencent, Zeng Liqing, founder of Matrix Partners, Zhang Ying, and management at TsingVentures, Chuangfuzhi Capital and Panda VC.

Sky Kurtz graduated in finance at Arizona State University in 2004. He also completed a master’s in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011.He started his corporate career in New York at Lehman Brothers where he worked as an analyst from 2004–2006. He went on to work at CCMP Capital as an associate for three years until 2009. After various board member roles in US, he became the VP of Francisco Partners in 2011, a global private equity firm based in San Francisco.In 2014, he became the CEO of Mateen Corporation that manufactures high-performance fiber-reinforced polymers in the UAE and New Zealand. In 2016, he co-founded Vence Corp, a virtual fencing device manufacturer for livestock management. Currently based in UAE, Kurtz also founded Pure Harvest Smart Farms in Abu Dhabi. He is the CEO of the Middle East’s first commercial-scale, semi-automated, hybrid greenhouse growing system. Kurtz is also an advisor at e-commerce beauty startup Powder.ae and an entrepreneur-in-residence at Shorooq Investments.

Blanca Rodríguez Montero won the MIT LatAm Startup competition in 2015 while completing an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at MIT's Sloan School of Management. She also worked in Boston for VCs like Rough Draft Ventures and Founder Collective while at MIT. In 2011, she started her first job at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) after graduating with in Law and Business Administration in Spain. In 2014, she joined BCG consultant Victor Sánchez Rodríguez to co-found edtech Smile and Learn. In June 2018, she moved to Paris as co-founder of Next Station, an online recruiting platform for international talent.

Lynx Asia is an investment advisory firm based in Singapore. Its investments cover a broad range of industries, from retail and real estate to energy and manufacturing.

Reus Capital is a pledge fund focused on technology startups in the Catalan ecosystem. It was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Reus, Catalonia. To date, it has invested a total of €10 million in more than 20 startup companies.

Founded in 1997 in London, Amadeus has invested in more than 130 companies, has over 40 employees and has raised over $1bn to date.  The investor focuses on early-stage UK-based companies, although it has also invested in later-stage European and developing market startups.  In August 2021, it announced a $150m upcoming investment drive in Brazil. Amadeus currently has 54 portfolio companies. Its recent investments include the June 2021 £20m Series A investment round of UK-based XYZ Reality that employs holograms in construction tech. In May 2021, it led the $4.8m investment in the cryptography lifecycle management platform Cryptosense.

Wu Shichun (b. 1977) founded Plum Ventures in 2014, an internet-focused angel fund managing three RMB funds. Wu began investing in 2008 after he quit Kuxun, the leading online travel media he founded in 2006. Plum Ventures is listed among the top 10 angel investment firms in China, with each investment of RMB 2 million to 5 million.

Tenaya Capital was originally founded in 1995 as Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. In 2009, following Lehman's bankruptcy, Tenaya was spun off into an independent company, with HarbourVest Partners acquired their existing investments. Since then, Tenaya has invested in some major tech companies, including event ticketing company Eventbrite, early fashion e-commerce firm Zappos, and Uber competitor Lyft. They have so far made two investments into Indonesian companies: agritech e-commerce platform TaniHub, and “Uber-for-logistics” company Kargo Technologies. Tenaya typically invests in Series B and Series C rounds, although they have gone into Series A and later rounds as well. 

Ocean Link is a private equity firm that mainly invests in consumer goods, tourism and TMT sectors in China. It currently manages two USD funds and one RMB fund. It has offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. The limited partners include Chinese and global corporates, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. China’s largest online travel agency Trip.com and international private equity firm General Atlantic are strategic partners.In April 2020, Ocean Link proposed to acquire all of the outstanding ordinary shares of the Chinese online classifieds marketplace 58.com. The NYSE-listed company is in the process of evaluating the proposal. 

Andy Zain is a veteran businessman, executive and angel investor. The Monash University graduate worked in management roles in various Indonesian tech companies and also co-founded companies like Elastisitas and Numedia Global. He is well-known as a founding partner and managing director at VC Kejora Ventures. Andy is also part of ANGIN, the Indonesian network of angel investors that collaborates with Grupara Ventures.

Indonesia's largest media conglomerate, Kompas Gramedia controls the country's national newspaper, Kompas, and operates the country's biggest bookstore chain, Gramedia. It also runs its own publishing house, Gramedia Pustaka Utama. With Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, Kompas Gramedia co-founded tech incubator and coworking space Skystar Ventures. The media conglomerate also backed Skystar Capital, a separate and independent investment arm from Skystar Ventures. Kompas Gramedia was founded in 1965.

Alta Life Sciences (Alta LS) was established in 2016. Based in Barcelona, the management team is led by the co-founder of Alta Partners Guy Paul Nohra, a leading pioneer VC in life sciences. Alta Partners has funded over 150 companies since 1996. Alta LS specializes in the life sciences sector in Spain and abroad, targeting biotech, genomics, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health. It also acts as a bridge fund, connecting the Spanish life sciences ecosystem to VC experts in Silicon Valley. Investment is available for all stages of development, with focus mainly on seed and Series A funding.

The Stanford Management Company (SMC) invests through the Merged Pool that oversees the majority of its investable assets. Its portfolio includes diverse equity-oriented strategies: domestic and foreign public equities (27%), real estate (8%), natural resources (7%) and private equity (30%). Private equity is maintained at 30% of the Merged Pool based on its risk-return criteria. The Merged Pool was valued at $29.6 bn as of June 30, 2019.The private equity division operates through selected external partners for early and later-stage investments. According to the university’s latest investment report, the SMC is working to improve its investment portfolio that has become over diversified during the last four years, making it difficult to maintain quality and drive superior returns. The number of active partners has been reduced to 75 including 37 new ones added in the last four years. The new partners have generated a net internal rate of return of 29.3% over the last four years.

The Graduate Syndicate is led by Harvard Business School senior lecturer Jeff Bussgang. The fund primarily invests in startups founded by Harvard graduates, particularly HBS alumni. It is linked to Flybridge Capital Partners, where Jeff Bussgang has served as a general partner since 2003.

Christopher Angkasa is an angel investor. He is a managing partner at angel investing firm Denali Partners and a co-founder of wealth consultancy firm Akara Capital. He also founded Clapham Collective, a coworking space in Medan that is now part of EV Hive.
