CTO and co-founder of Knokcare (formerly Knok Healthcare)
João Magalhães is the Portuguese co-founder and CTO of medtech Knokcare, previously known as Knok Healthcare. Prior to founding Knokcare in 2015, he co-founded Iterar, a software developer that also created Knokcare’s software.Magalhães completed a master’s degree in Medicine at the University of Porto in 2014 that helped him to conceive the concept for Knokcare. He worked at Iterar for six years as a web and Android developer until 2017. Will Hetzler graduated from Harvard in 2009 as an economist. Graduating in 2007 as a civil engineer, Liliana Marques completed a PhD in Steel and Mixed Construction Technologies in 2012 at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. She was a visiting assistant professor and researcher at her alma mater until June 2018.Before co-founding agtech CoolFarm in 2014, Marques had established mobile software development company CoolApps in 2012 with CoolFarm co-founders João Igor and Eduardo Esteves.
