He founded his first company in 2010 after developing a custom material, and sold his stake in the company in 2013 before pursuing a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS).Salehian graduated from the PhD program in 2017 and worked as a research fellow before embarking on one-year stints at two Singapore companies.
