Co-founder, CTO of RatedPower
Juan Romero González is the Spanish co-founder and CTO of RatedPower, which produces software to automate the design of solar power plants. He has worked there since 2017. Romero led the software development of pvDesign, the company’s first product.Prior to this, he worked at Spanish renewable energy company Solida for six years, including four as a project engineer. Romero holds two master’s degrees: one in Data Science from Madrid’s King Juan Carlos University and the other in Project Management from Espen Business School, also in Madrid. Alberto Gómez Toribio is a computer engineer and an influential blockchain expert in Spain. In 2013, he co-founded Coinffeine, a P2P cryptocurrency exchange platform and the first to on-board a banking investor. Coinffeine consulted institutions including the Bank of Spain, the US Federal Reserve and the European Commission during development of the platform. In 2015, Toribio established the blockchain division within the Barrabés Group to launch blockchain startups projects. He has also worked as a technology expert for Sony Entertainment and Telefonica R&D. Currently he is working on projects developing blockchain strategies to identify business opportunities and new innovative product design.

A designer and branding specialist, Petr Báča was inspired to develop a smart vending solution to eliminate plastic packaging in supply chains while working with industry clients at Cocoon Prague, a branding and advertising agency he founded in 1996. In 2015, he set up MIWA Technologies in Prague, to realize his smart vending system into a business. He is currently CEO of MIWA and continues to work in packaging design as a partner at Cocoon Prague.Báča graduated from the University of Economics in Prague in 2002. He is also a founding partner of the Intellectual Capital Investors Association that assists innovators to start their own businesses and to help new companies to scale.

Co-founder and CEO of Kostoom
Putry Yuliastutik got the idea to start Kostoom after watching her mother struggling to make ends meet, as a skilled seamstress working from home. She left Bigalia to set up Kostoom to help other homeworkers like her mother. Bigalia was a heavy equipment supply business that was established by Putry and her husband Indra Rukasyah in 2015. Putry graduated in Mathematics at the University of Indonesia in 2011, while working as a graphic designer at a creative digital startup iP Logo Design. She was also a co-founder and branding consultant at iP Logo in Jakarta until December 2013.

João Igor graduated with a degree in Communication, Design and Media Studies from the School of Education of Coimbra (ESEC) in 2008. The digital marketer worked for four years at Imagemplus until 2012, when he co-founded mobile software development firm CoolApps, together with CoolFarm co-founders Liliana Marques and Eduardo Esteves. In July 2014, he co-founded indoor farming agtech CoolFarm and worked as marketing and communications manager until June 2018. He was communications manager at relocation startup Moviinn for one year until 2015. Currently based in Lisbon, he now a marketing communications specialist with London's HR recruitment firm Transformify.

He met Zhang Haoqian at the iGEM giant jamboree in 2010 and they have remained friends ever since.Li and Zhang co-founded Bluepha in 2016, a spin-off from Tsinghua University’s SynBio research project.
