CEO and founder of Intelligent Learning
After graduating from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2003, Yang Renbin worked as a software architect for nearly four years at Peking University’s Institute of Computer Science & Technology (ICST).In 2007, he joined ChinaCache as general manager of its CDN business unit. In 2009, he left Beijing for Hangzhou and joined Alibaba as product director and strategy director. He later became the chief architect of the mobile Taobao app.In 2014, he left Alibaba and launched neighborhood social app Youlin in Hangzhou. Bao Chunjian graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2006 with a master’s degree in Computer Science. He then joined Tencent where he worked for nine years on the R&D of major data-related technologies rising to the level of a T4 expert engineer (the highest title an engineer can achieve in Tencent). In 2015, Bao Chunjian recruited a few former Tencent employees and founded a startup to help blue-collar workers find jobs but that business failed in 2016. He then started Xiaoe Tech.

Founder of TreeFrog Therapeutics
Jean-Luc Treillou is co-founder of TreeFrog Therapeutics, whose proprietory C-Stem technology mass-produces high-quality pluripotent stem cells in a 3D environment. Since January 2019, he has also acted as an advisor and member of the strategic committee of IT security company Eshard. Prior to co-founding TreeFrog, Treillou founded YSOPIA Bioscience in 2011, where he was CEO until he left in 2021, and Chairman of the Board from 2018. Between 2009 and 2013 he held the posts of General Manager and Chairman of the Board at French R&D company Nutrionix.

He joined Squirrel AI in 2015.

The institute manages over RMB 7.5bn of assets and also makes investments through its sub-funds with a total size of more than RMB 10bn. So far, it has incubated and invested in over 2,500 companies, 35 of whom have gone public or been acquired by listed companies.

In 2005, Harbour Networks lost in its intense battle with Huawei and was acquired by the larger player. Even though Li rejoined Huawei after the acquisition, he was never able to re-enter the core management team because of his damaged relationship with Ren Zhengfei, the founder and president of Huawei.
