Sergi Roca Puertas obtained a bachelor’s degree (2014) and a master’s (2016) in Industrial Technology Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His master’s included Industrial Engineering at Finland’s Tampere University of Technology, where he participated in the research of glass fibers.In 2016, he also studied Foreign Trade, Logistics and Supply Management at Euroinnova Business School in Granada and completed work experience as a trading engineer at Madrid-based KL2B.Currently based in San Francisco bay area, he has been working as a deployment strategist at AI-powered analytics and marketing startup Jetlore in Silicon Valley since November 2016. In 2017, he co-founded Plant on Demand (POD) as CTO with an office in Ireland.

US-trained veteran software engineer Oby Sumampouw has worked at LinkedIn, Oracle and Google. He holds a master’s in Computer Science from Stanford University. Oby was living in the United States for 13 years before he decided to return to Indonesia and start Cermati.

He is also co-founder and the former CEO of NPAW, where he was responsible for new business generation developing and strategic relationships with customers and partners during the startup's growth phase. NPAW's funding round with Axon Partners Group was completed during his tenure as CEO.  Wüst read Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, has studied at Duke University and holds a MSc. in Computer Science from Pompeu Fabra University. 

Eric Mourin is the Barcelona-based CTO and co-founder of Aimentia, which runs the first AI-powered virtual clinic for mental health patients. He met his fellow co-founder Edgar Jorba, who is now CEO of Aimentia, at the Open University of Catalonia. The company was established while both co-founders were still students.Mourin is a computer engineer by training. Prior to setting up Aimentia, he worked as a software engineer. He also spent close to two years working on a World Heath Organization (WHO) project involving the design and implementation of an IT system for the monitoring and control of neglected tropical diseases. This IT system equipped affected countries to make data-based decisions to reduce incidence of such endemic diseases, while allowing the WHO to efficiently monitor progress.Mourin holds a master’s in computer and information systems security from the Open University of Catalonia as well as a bachelor’s in computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. 

Saasha Celestial-One is the American-born COO and co-founder of zero food waste app OLIO. Celestial-One, a name chosen by her hippy parents in rural Iowa, went on to work as an analyst at Morgan Stanley after graduating in economics at the University of Chicago in 1998. She started an MBA program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2002 where she met OLIO’s British co-founder Tessa Clarke.The American banker joined McKinsey & Co in 2003 as an associate in New York and managed to get a transfer to work at McKinsey in London in 2005 when her boyfriend went to study at Cambridge University in England. In 2007, she became VP of business development for American Express. She left Amex in June 2013 and co-founded My Crèche in London as CEO of the pay-as-you-go childcare service. Both OLIO co-founders were mums with young children in North London when they decided to pool together their savings to develop the OLIO app in 2015.

Rodrigo García González graduated in Architecture at the Technical University of Madrid (ETSAM) in 2009 and also completed various PhD courses in advanced architecture at his alma mater.In 2006, the architect student joined an EU Asia-Link sustainable humane habitat program that included stints at the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University in India. He also won a SMILE scholarship to study industrial design at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile for one year. His designs have also been featured in prestigious art centers like the Cite de l'Architecture of Paris and the Venice Biennale of Architecture.Other projects include the Hop! suitcase that can follow the user by tracking the signal of the user’s mobile phone and Aer, an artificial cloud that can evaporate “drinkable” water from the sea. He also developed Zipizip, an architectural system that enables the construction of several floors of a building in a few hours.

A councilor of the Shanghai branch of the All-China Youth Federation, Guo holds an EMBA from PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University.

Andre Hutagalung has a master’s in Information Technology from the University of Indonesia. In 2013, Andre joined Rama Raditya at GPS-based services provider TerralogiQ that developed Qlue in 2014. When Qlue became an independent company, Andre left TerralogiQ to become the CTO of PT Qlue Performa Indonesia.

Highly successful serial entrepreneur Justin Luo has co-founded major real estate media company Sina Leju and China Real Estate Information Group, which went on to list on Nasdaq, and more recently, Tujia. He has a degree in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
