Tessa Wijaya joined Indonesian fintech Xendit as co-founder and COO in 2016, a year after the payment gateway startup graduated from the Y Combinator program and launched its platform in Indonesia.Wijaya obtained a master’s in philosophy from the University of Sydney in 2006 after graduating from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in 2003. She returned to Indonesia and worked as a corporate development officer for over three years. In 2010, she became an analyst at Principia Management Group and Fairways Investment Group, both being Southeast Asia-focused investment firms. In 2013, Wijaya went on to work as an associate at Singapore-based investment firm Mizuho Asia Partners for over three years before joining Xendit back in Jakarta.

Wan Xuan has worked on investment and branding consulting for many years. After co-founding Keyfare, he leads the marketing and sales for the startup as its CMO.

Mariel Diaz Castro is Co-founder and CEO at Triditive, an additive manufacturing technology startup founded in 2016. A Colombian national and mechanical and industrial engineer, Diaz studied at the University of Oviedo prior to launching Triditive. Diaz also lectures in additive manufacturing at industrial engineering school COGITIPA, and is a European Commission Expert in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. She has been a teacher of creative 3D printing at the University of Oviedo and worked at American 3D print designer Shapeways. Diaz speaks English, Chinese and Spanish. 

Juan Martinez studied Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain and holds a master's specializing in rotary machine design. He has spent over four years as a design and stress engineer at various Spanish engineering companies, including rail infrastructure firm Vossloh, Altran, an engineering R&D services company and ISATI (International Solutions for the Aeronautical and Telecommunications Industries). Since 2016, Martinez has been co-founder and CTO at Solatom, a startup that develops solar concentrators for industrial applications.

The investment arm of Yamaha Motor Group (Japan) was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California. It focuses on industrial automation and transportation technology, and on smart and automated solutions in particular. Recent investments include automated strawberry picker Advanced Farm Technologies' US$7.5m Series A round and drone and robotics startup Exyn Technology's US$16m Series A round.
