CTO and co-founder of Gestoos
Marcel Alcoverro is the CTO and co-founder of Gestoos, a gesture recognition startup. Alcoverro graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with a master’s in Advanced Computing, Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality as well as PhD in Telecommunication Engineering. He is the author of several papers in international peer-reviewed journals on computer vision, computer graphics and 3D data processing.

Xu Wenyao received a bachelor's degree in 2006 and a master's degree in 2008 from Zhejiang University. In 2013, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Xu is founder and director of the Embedded Sensing and Computing Group at the State University of New York at Buffalo and serves as an associate professor in the university's Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
