Established in 2013, ZP Capital is a venture capital fund. It invests mainly in companies in the internet and consumer technology sectors. 

Led by billionaire investors includings Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Jack Ma, Michael Bloomberg and Richard Branson, US-based Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV) is an energy tech innovation fund for highly-scalable tech with the potential to help cut net greenhouse gas emissions to zero. Since its founding in 2016, it has launched several funds, including the $1bn Breakthrough Energy Ventures initial fund and a $100m European fund. The entity employs scientists and has a model available to startups to identify sustainability opportunities in the US grid. It currently has 30 startups in its portfolio across technologies and geographies. Among its most recent investments in early 2021 are the $11.5m Series A round of US low-emission hydrogen producer C-Zero and in the $50m Series B round of US sustainable metal producer Boston Metals. In January 2021, BEV also closed a new round of another $1 billion to invest in up to 50 startups. The round saw the addition participation of several new investors including Abigail Johnson, CEO of  Fidelity Investments, Shopify founder Tobias Lütke, property developer John Sobrato,  of CEO of hedge fund Baupost Group Seth Klarman,  founder of Tableau Software Chris Stolte and Walmart heir Sam Walton. 

Founded in 2013, China Merchants Wealth is a wholly owned asset management unit of China Merchants Fund, with RMB 200 billion under management.

ATM Capital is a China-based venture capital firm with a focus on Southeast Asia. In 2017, ATM Capital participated in the seed round of Indonesian coworking space operator Rework (now GoWork). Its its partners have invested in Go-Jek, Rocket Internet and several Chinese companies. It closed its US$200 million fund in January 2019. 

Launched in 2015, the Stanford GSB Impact Fund invests globally in innovators and tech startups whether connected with the university or not and within the area of social impact in seven market segments: education, energy and the environment, fintech, food and agriculture, justice, healthcare, and urban development.  The university-owned fund invests from the pre-seed to Series A rounds and makes investments mostly from January to April. It currently has 11 startups in its portfolio. 

CICC Alpha is a subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), managing a RMB 2 billion fund focusing on internet and financial innovation. 

CNBB Venture Partners is a Dutch fund with 30+ years' experience in the SaaS cloud industry – the company’s main investment focus. Through the VC fund, CNBB invests in funding rounds from €500,000 to €5m, usually provided to companies with a minimum of  €1m annual recurring revenue.Through the private equity vehicle, CNBB identifies and acquires Europe-based SaaS companies active in markets with consistent growth, profitability and consolidation. CNBB provides equity investment from €3m to €10m.

Hong Kong-based Unicorn Capital Partners was founded in 2015 by Tommy Yip, former partner of Emerald Hill Capital Partners.Unicorn is a leading FoF platform that focuses on venture capital fund and direct investment opportunities in China and Asia. It mainly invests in technology, media, telecommunications and healthcare. By December 2019, Unicorn had $800m in assets under management. It also raised over $350m for its fourth fund.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, Valliance Asset Management is a hedge fund manager founded in May 2019.

Spain's first social impact investment fund Creas Foundation invests in business projects which prioritize the creation of social and environmental value. It acts as an investor and partner in financial, management and strategic decisions. Its goal is to facilitate access to funding and accelerate growth of social businesses which have an innovative approach and sustainable income model. It has fixed a target of €30m to invest in social enterprise startups. The fund offers participatory loans or capital injections ranging from €5,000 to €25,000.

Nigerian investment bank and investor CardinalStone Partners was founded in 2008. It invests in enterprises with the potential to transform diverse sectors deemed to be strategic to the development of the economies in Nigeria, Ghana and other West African countries.The VC also reviews potential investments in relation to their ESG impact. CardinalStone currently has six companies in its portfolio including Nigerian gym chain i-Fitness and Nigerian fintech Appzone. In 2020, it raised $50m for a new private equity fund, CardinalStone Capital Advisers Growth Fund. 

Established in New York in 1979, Women's World Banking is a not-for-profit dedicated to financing initiatives for low-income women in developing nations. Its Capital Partners Fund is a private equity limited partnership that makes direct equity investments in women-focused financial institutions.To date, the fund has invested in 12 organizations, mostly banks offering micro-credits, in 10 developing nations. Investments for the first quarter of 2021 included participation in Colombian fintech Aflore’s $6.5m investment round and Kenyan insurtech Pula’s $2m Series A round.

Founded in 2015, Zuoyu Capital is a research investment firm focused on the travel & tourism and consumer services sectors. It manages an angel fund of RMB 100 million.

Norfund is the sovereign investment fund of Norway, established by the parliament in 1997 and owned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The company has committed NOK 28.4bn in investments into 170 projects in developing countries as of 2020. Norfund has regional offices in Thailand, Costa Rica, Kenya, Mozambique and Ghana to support its activities in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In Asia, its core investment targets are Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Norfund primarily invests in three key areas: clean energy, agriculture and fintech. The fund has invested in solar power projects and various food companies in India and various African countries. In Asia, Norfund has invested in Amartha, an Indonesian P2P lending fintech company providing loans to women-led microbusinesses. Norfund also invests in other venture funds, such as Southeast Asia-focused Openspace Ventures Fund III, to expand and diversify their portfolio.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2011, Rockstart is a global accelerator-VC focusing on sustainability startups across market segments. Rockstart also runs specialist programs like agrifood in Copenhagen, healthcare in the Dutch town of Nijmegen and also in emerging tech in Bogota, Colombia. It specializes in developing business relationships for portfolio startups with global corporates such as Maersk, Shell and the Dutch Ministry of Health. Rockstart has invested in more than 250 startups, valued at €750m in total.Launched in 2019, Rockstart’s €22m agrifood fund secured investment partners including Vaekstfonden’s Green Future Fund and global dairy cooperative Arla Foods. It has invested in 20 food enterprises like Swiss zero-waste supermarket Lyfa and Danish alt-leather startup Beyond Leather Materials in 2021. Rockstart’s energy fund recently invested in the €730,000 pre-seed round of Danish carbon sequestration corporate marketplace, Klimate, in September 2021. Exits include Wercker, iClinic, Brincr and 3D Hubs.
