Jose Maria Tarragó was the VP of Ficosa International, a global provider in research, development and manufacturing of advanced technology for the motor and mobility sectors. He was also VP of Carbures Europe that specialized in the design and manufacture of engineering systems for automotive, aerospace and security industries. In 2015, Tarragó and his four brothers founded the Lacus Group that invests and mentors new tech companies and industrial manufacturers. He is also an adviser to the Eurofred Group.

Alvin Kumarga is an experienced technical consultant and a Magna Cum Laude graduate in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, USA. Alvin was a market research intern and later became a special projects consultant at Hybrid Silica Technologies before graduating in 2011. He worked in Boston at Stroud Consulting before returning to Indonesia in 2014 to work for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).He left BCG in October 2015 to develop new products and corporate business for online travel agency Traveloka. In the meantime, he also co-founded Airy Rooms in 2015 but exited the startup in June 2017.

Later, he co-founded Youdao, a new online education startup under the Nasdaq-listed NetEase group. By the time he left, Youdao’s user base had grown to the hundreds of millions. Rubén Sánchez Martín majored in Computer Engineering at the University of Salamanca and has an MBA from the European Business School in Madrid. In 2017, he joined the Endeavor Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures program with Harvard Business School.Based in Salamanca, he is the founding partner of Socio that has been operating two women-only fitness centers Curves since 2006. In 2009, he established Chocolat Factory. While running the businesses, Sánchez had been working at IT group GPM Innovación since 1998. He left GPM and closed down his chocolate delicatessen in 2012 to focus on Beonprice as co-founder and CEO.

Karaniya Dharmasaputra is a media industry veteran, trained in public policy and communications-related affairs. He was managing editor at TEMPO, an Indonesian news magazine and had a brief stint as a broadcast journalist with Voice of America (VOA). In 2008, Karaniya left TEMPO to establish VIVA, a news and entertainment portal. He subsequently moved on from VIVA in 2013 to establish Bareksa, an online investment portal dedicated to mutual funds.Karaniya is also President Director of KLY Digital Media Group, a holding company for digital content platforms owned by Emtek.

With significant work experience in the FMCG industry, Nie believes there is huge potential in combining offline retail with internet technologies. In 2013, he came up with an idea to design a smart shopping trolley for supermarkets but was unable to attract investors. Later, Nie formed a team to develop a grocery delivery app, which, due to few orders and high costs, failed in 2015. During this period, he helped Beijing Hualian Group, one of China's largest operators of supermarkets and department stores, draw up its O2O business strategy. In 2016, Nie founded Mars Rabbit.

Dennis Vilovic has lived in the Middle East, Africa and Europe; working as an operations and business development consultant for international organizations and private companies. Originally from Germany, Vilovic is the author of many publications and has also participated in the project “HNA Aleppo”, an analysis of the water supply system in Aleppo, Syria.A Socio-Economic Science graduate from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg in Germany, Vilovic established TroopTravel in April 2017. The multi-award winning platform helps corporates to organize global group meetings using Big Data, machine learning and meta-search engines.

Li Qin earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Zhejiang University in 2006 and an M.Sc. from Utrecht University in 2007. Upon graduation, he worked briefly on B2B market analysis at the Vilnius office of Euromonitor International, an independent strategic market research provider. After returning to China in 2007, Li became head of R&D on cryogenics at Shanxi Energy Industries Group Co., Ltd. From November 2009 until early 2015, he served as a lecturer at Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. In February 2015, Li founded Sennotech in Shenzhen.

Bao holds two bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Communications Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He worked as an associate at Morgan Stanley's Global Capital Markets business unit from 2011 to 2015. Bao then worked as an investment associate at Chinese group buying website Meituan-Dianping from 2015 to 2016 and at Legend Capital from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, he co-founded Huajuan Mall and has since served as head of strategy.
