Gunawan is the CEO and co-founder of FMCG supply chain KlikDaily, which he co-founded with Indra Dhanurendra in 2015. He worked at mobile payment company PT Red Dot Indonesia in Singapore. Gunawan is also Commissioner at PT ALS Energy, an Indonesian holding energy company, and is co-founder pf PT Keping Perak, which focuses on branding activation, graphic design, advertising, and more. He later worked in Singapore as a product manager at an online media management company Leapseas Pte Ltd. In 2013, he co-founded the price comparison website Pricebook, with university alumnus Ryoji Mori. Although headquartered in Japan, they decided to launch Pricebook in Indonesia.
