This private Portuguese healthcare group was established in 2000 and based in Lisbon. It made its first investment in a startup in 2019 when it led the €600,000 seed round of medtech UpHill, a SaaS for healthcare professionals to keep up-to-speed on the latest clinical treatments and protocols using AI. Xora Innovation is a subsidiary of the Singapore sovereign investment fund, Temasek. It was established as an early-stage deeptech investment platform that identifies startups connected with the Singapore science and technology ecosystem (although the startup can be based anywhere in the world). Xora plans to invest as a lead or co-lead in seed or Series A rounds, with later-stage investments being handled through Temasek. As of July 2021, Xora has invested in two companies based in Singapore: Allozymes, which provides enzyme engineering services, and Nuevocor, which is developing gene therapy for certain heart diseases.

Based in Singapore, the serial techpreneur is now co-founder and CTO of home decor and furniture e-commerce site Dekoruma.

After graduating in 2015, he joined Bornevia, a now-defunct startup that created an email-focused CRM system for corporates. He left Bornevia in 2016 and joined Ematic, another email-based marketing service startup. He stayed at Ematic for almost three years and became a senior software engineer.In 2019, Handison left Ematic with work colleague Stevanus Iskandar Halim to develop an equity crowdfunding platform. Together with Halim's university acquaintance James Wiryadi, they co-founded CrowdDana.

Ignacio Gómez Maqueda is co-founder and CTO at IoT and data startup SensoWave, as well as its brand Digitanimal, aimed at remote farming, where he has worked full-time since 2014. Prior to this, he worked as a researcher at Granada University and, before that, for seven years as an engineer at SensoWave fellow co-founder's startup Alfa Imaging in Madrid. Spanish-born Gómez holds both a master's degree and a PhD in Technology and Communications Systems from Madrid's Polytechnic University.

In 2016, he combined the medicine delivery service and online interaction with doctors to create Halodoc, a healthcare platform startup backed by the Mensa Group.
