Co-founder, CTO of Polaroo
Sergio Sanchez is the CTO and co-founder of Widuid that was later re-branded as Polaroo, a Spanish household bill management app. He spent eight months working on building the MVP with the Rovira brothers in 2017.The mechanical engineer also completed a master's in Automatic Control and Robotics at his alma mater, the Polytechnic Degree of Barcelona. Like fellow co-founder Marc Rovira, Sanchez was also at space tech startup Zero2Infinity working as a full stack developer and HMI engineer. He has also worked in biotech company Fungitech Global as a mechanical engineer.

Rassel Pratomo is a software and web engineer with over eight years of experience. He started work in 2011 as a network engineer at Artha Mitra Interdata, a solutions integrator company. In the following years, he worked at various companies and spent the longest time at AppsFoundry developing web services and payment gateway systems. In 2016, he joined Ivan Tambunan, William Tambunan and Christopher Gultom in developing Akseleran, an equity crowdlending startup that would later become a P2P productive lending platform. After joining as technical lead, he later became CTO of Akseleran in 2017, a little after Akseleran launched its service.

Vincent Kurniawan has worked as an industrial engineer since 2011 after graduating from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, USA. He joined aerospace company C&D Zodiac in Ontario and worked as a Lean Manager for almost two years.In 2013, he returned to Indonesia to work at sugar refinery PT Andalan Furnindo, as head of operations for the Samora Group's subsidiary. In February 2020, he left the company to work fulltime as COO of Life Innovation Source startup Nusantics which he co-founded with another Samora executive Sharlini Eriza Putri in 2019.

Jiang Tong obtained bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University and Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University between 2011 and 2016. Upon graduation, he joined a robotics startup founded by a team from Zhejiang university, Shanghai Seer Robotics Technology, working as an algorithm engineer from 2016 to 2017. He then joined Bumie Tech in 2017. He specializes in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and location algorithm. Jiang now serves as CTO at Onesight.

Ma Jiliang graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 with a degree in Industrial and System Engineering. He also has a degree in Applied Mathematics. While studying, Ma had internship roles as a lab and program manager with companies in Suzhou, China.In 2012, he started working as a program manager at AI startup Mobvoi in Beijing. After his graduation, he continued to work at Mobvoi until 2014. He founded medtech Modoo as CEO in 2015. He wanted to produce a more effective and safer fetal-monitoring device that can be used by pregnant women at home.

Having seen his parents struggle to provide his brother with intensive physical rehabilitation, Virgílio Bento (b. 1984) understood the many pain points faced by the patients and their families. Bento graduated from the University of Aveiro with a master’s in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and went on to pursue a PhD in Electrical Engineering. There, he developed SWORD Phoenix which would go on to be the technology behind SWORD Health, a startup Bento founded and of which he is currently CEO. Bento is also a co-founder of Findster Technologies, a dual pet tracker and fitness tech.

He previously worked at McKinsey for six-and-a-half years in Amsterdam, New York and in Kenya. Prior to that, he worked as an equity derivatives trader at derivative trading company All Options after a short stint at Barclays Capital.De Nood holds two first degrees from the University of Amsterdam, in philosophy and in economics and finance.

Prior to co-founding and becoming the CEO of China’s leading AI technology startup YITU Healthcare, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s AI laboratory and a research fellow at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University.

He co-founded FAST8, a human resources tech company, in 2008 with his wife, Afia Fitriati. They also founded Gadjian, an HR management SaaS startup. Today, Else is also a lecturer at Paramadina University and a member of Sharia Supervisory Board for four companies.
