Sarah Hordern is a co-founder, CFO and Group Development Leader at UK-based Modulous, the first end-to-end generative design and delivery solution for affordable, sustainable and modulized housing, where she has worked since 2019. She is simultaneously a non-executive director at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and at lenders Newbury Building Society. She was previously executive advisor at the Cambridge Code 2018-19, the first digital tool that measures subconscious drivers of behavior, and spent two years as COO at residential management company Meyrick Estate Management. From 1999 to 2014, she was a joint managing director in the area of property and finance at Newbury Racecourse, one of the UK’s largest horse-racing establishments, where she was responsible for the design and commercial negotiations for a new community of 1,500 homes. Prior to this, Hordern spent five years at PwC in corporate tax management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

Founded in Bayern in 2009, SevenVentures GmbH provides Media-for-Equity and Media-for-Revenue investment models to companies with a minimum turnover of €5m. The firm secures TV media coverage and cash payments for its investees, as the investment arm of German media group ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE that has a total monthly TV audience of 60m across seven free channels.In 2019, SevenVentures provided 1,000 advertising hours to 70 businesses. The firm’s media contributions are worth the equivalent of €3m–30m over a period of two to four years. SevenVentures also runs the SevenAccelerator and currently has 18 active portfolio companies. Recent investments in 2021 include the $54m Series B round of Austrian refurbished electronics goods marketplace Refurbed in August and the €35m funding round for German telemedicine platform Wellster Healthtech Group in June.

KapanLagi Network (KLN) is a media company that was co-founded in 2003 by Steve Christian and Eka Wiharto. Established in 1994 by Wang Zhongjun and Wang Zhonglei, Huayi Brothers Media Corporation (H. Brothers) is a large media and entertainment group in mainland China. It focuses on three major areas: film, TV and celebrity management; commercial properties that promote entertainment companies’ IP such as theme parks and film-themed tourist destinations; and new media projects such as social media, online gaming and internet fan community management. Alibaba, Tencent Holdings and PingAn have all been shareholders in H. Brothers since 2014.

Prometheus Capital was founded in 2012 as a family fund of Wang Jianlin, founder and chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group, China's biggest real estate conglomerate, and his son Wang Sicong. It is now owned and controlled by Wang Sicong. With over US$1 billion assets under management, the firm invests mainly in early- and growth-stage startups in the real estate, consumer products, entertainment and fintech sectors around the world. It has made investments worth RMB 3 billion in total.

Bojiang Capital was founded in Shanghai in September 2005. The investment management group has branches in Hong Kong, Beijing, Zhejiang and Shenzhen. It also has offices in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles in the US.Bojiang mainly invests in the primary equity market and focuses on high-tech young companies in the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) industry, big data, artificial intelligence, corporate services, fintech, new materials and culture.

Its founder, Kan Zhidong was also the founder of Shenzhen Capital Group,  one of the first few venture capitalists in China. As at March 2018, it had set up a number of funds and managed over 20 investment teams.With over RMB 30bn worth of assets under its management, Fortune Link mainly invests in sectors including TMT, environmental protection, advanced material, healthcare, high tech industries, culture and media.

Sixto Arias is a veteran entrepreneur based in Madrid. He graduated with a BA Communications degree from Complutense University in 1992.In 2001, he started his first venture as co-founder of Movilisto that was sold to London-based mobile value-added services group Itouch Plc in 2004. In 2007, he founded media planner Mobext that was sold to Havas Media six years later.He is an angel investor focusing on projects relating to AI, education, IoT and mobile. He was the managing partner of Conector Startup Accelerator in Madrid for over two years. He is also the founder of the Mobile Marketing Association in Spain.Arias currently runs two startups: digital innovation agency Made in Mobile that he founded in 2014 and edtech Capaball co-founded in 2018. As a digital marketing specialist and experienced lecturer, he also works as a professor at ESCP Europe in Madrid and University of Sergio Arboleda in Colombia.
