Jungle Ventures was founded by serial entrepreneur Anurag Srivastava and business angel Amit Anand in Singapore. Anurag arrived in Singapore in 1993 and established interior design Space Matrix group in 2006. Amit was a vice chairman of Business Angels Network South East Asia (BANSEA). He is currently a member of the Advisory Council for Ethics in AI & Data in Singapore.The VC specializes in the finance, retail, software, media, travel and hospitality sectors. Investments include budget hotel network RedDoorz, microfinancing fintech Kredivo, photography services platform SweetEscape and digital logistics Waresix.

C4 Ventures was founded by Pascal Cagni, former VP and GM of Apple EMEIA. With offices in Paris and London, the firm invests in early-stage startups across market segments in Europe. The VC also supports later-stage companies interested in expanding into Europe. It currently has 33 startups in its portfolio with principal interests in sectors like hardware, digital media and the future of commerce and work.Recent investments in 2021 include the $54m Series B round of Austrian refurbished electronics goods marketplace Refurbed in August and the $5m seed round in June of Norbert Health, the French producers of the first ambient scanner that can measure vital signs.

The first China-based company to mass-produce 3D food printers, Shiyin Tech plans to deploy 100,000 self-service models in the next three years.

Dhanurendra is co-founder and CTO of FMCG supply chain KlikDaily, which he co-founded with Amos Gunawan in 2015. He was also a Mentor / Entrepreneur In Residence at Skystar Ventures and the of Business Development at PT Red Dot Indonesia in Singapore. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH).  

Based in London, CPT Capital is the venture arm of private equity pioneer Jeremy Coller's private family office. Coller is the founder of Europe’s first private equity for secondaries in 1990. The British philanthropist has also established several business schools and the Jeremy Coller Foundation that aims to eliminate factory farming. In 2017, CPT Capital was founded to disrupt the food industry with investments in the alt-protein sector to create the “future of food and materials” like plant-based, recombinant and cell-cultured proteins.

Media Digital Ventures is the first Spanish Cross-Media fund focusing on Media for Equity. It holds multichannel advertising assets across major media sectors. Based in Barcelona, MDV also creates multimedia and advertising campaigns for scaling high-growth startups in return for equity.MDV is co-founded by Gerard Olivé and Miguel Vicente. Both are serial entrepreneurs, investors and co-founders of Antai Venture Builder, Wallapop, Deliberry and Chicplace. Vicente, who exited LetsBonus which he founded in 2009, is also the president of Barcelona Tech City.

Big Sur Ventures is a Spanish VC based in Madrid. It was co-founded by Jose Miguel Herrero and Manuel Matés both with extensive international experience in leading technology products and services companies and M&A. The fund invests in companies focused on SaaS, online marketplace and platforms, IT and digital media. Investments range from seed to later growth stage. The VC usually represents the first institutional capital in a company, leading or co-leading the round with capital injection of between €100,000 and €400.000 per round. 

China Creation Ventures (CCV) was founded in 2017 by Wei Zhou, the former managing partner of KPCB China. Headquartered in Beijing, it invests mainly in early-stage startups in sectors such as finance and TMT. Series A funding accounts for around 70% of total investment. CCV manages USD and RMB funds collectively worth over RMB 3 billion.

Karim Pichara has a PhD in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Chile where he has been working for over 10 years since 2010. From 2011, Karim Pichara has also been working as a research associate at the Institute of Applied Computer Science, Harvard University, specializing in data mining and machine learning for astronomy. In November 2015, while at Harvard, Pichara and Matías Muchnick co-founded a plant-based foodtech, The Not Company (NotCo). Pichara became the CTO and headed the development of NotCo’s algorithm called “Giuseppe” that can analyze molecular structures of animal-based food to create similar plant-based food that cater to the human perception of taste and texture. 

Adrian Lorenzo Alonso is a Spanish computer engineer and co-founder/CTO of Mr. Jeff, an online dry cleaning and laundry service with a presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America.He previously worked as CTO in www.thefoodpoint.com, a B2B food market.

Rothenberg Ventures is a Silicon Valley VC, also previously known as Frontier Technology Venture Capital. Based in San Francisco, the VC was also a spin-off from River Ecosystem. Founded with seed capital of $5m raised by Mike Rothenberg in 2012, the firm has invested in more than 100 startups in VR/AR, AI, machine learning, drones, robotics and space. In 2016, the VC and its founder were investigated by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In 2018, Rothenberg himself and the VC were charged with fraud. Rothenberg has resigned from the firm and agreed to be barred from the brokerage and investment advisory business for five years. The SEC is seeking $18.8m disgorgement penalties and $9m civil penalty plus $3.7m pre-judgement interest.

This Luxembourg-based venture capital firm was established in 2004 and has offices in Silicon Valley and Madrid, managing over €170 million in capital. It invests in early-stage, deeptech companies in the Iberian peninsula, France, the UK, and Ireland. The VC has a particular focus on AI, cybersecurity and big data. In 2019, it won the Spanish VC Deal of the Year 2019, alongside Caixa Capital Risc, for the sale of PlayGiga.Adara Ventures currently has 15 companies in its portfolio following eight exits totalling $1.2bn in value. Its most recent investments include leading the €2m seed round of medtech IOMED Medical Solutions, which converts medical text into extractable data, and in the €8m seed round of biotech startup QUIBIM – both Spanish companies. 

Founded in San Francisco in 2009, Eniac Ventures is an early-stage investor in diverse sectors. It currently has 59 startups in its portolio. The vast majority of its exits have been via acquisitions by larger companies such as Anchor sold to Spotify. The VC also invested in Airbnb and Medallia that went public in 2020 and 2019 respectively.Recent investments in June 2021 include co-leading the $4.2m seed round of US mental healthcare platform Nirvana Health and participation in the $30m Series B round of Briq, a US financial planning and workflow automation platform for the construction industry. The VC also joined in the Series A round of Vence, the California-based producer of smart wearables for livestock management.

Formerly known as Google Ventures, GV is the investment arm of Alphabet Inc. Although Alphabet is its sole limited partner, the VC operates independently from Google. It invests in seed, venture and growth-stage funding rounds with more than 300 companies in its portfolio worth over $5bn. Headquartered in California’s Mountain View, GV has offices in San Francisco, Boston, New York and London. The VC has been actively involved in Silicon Valley’s investment rounds for prominent startups like Uber, Slack, Ripple, Impossible Foods, Lime and Medium.

Co-founder of Seedrs, one of Europe’s most popular crowdfunding sites, and a founding member of Beta-i, a pioneer and one of the most influential organizations in the Portuguese startup scene today, Carlos Silva holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a master’s in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Technico. He is currently also Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Faber Ventures.
