CEO and founder of SOURCE Global (formerly Zero Mass Water)
Cody Frieson is the US founder and CEO of SOURCE Global (formerly Zero Mass Water), the first off-grid drinking water production tech based on solar-powered panels. The Arizona State University Fulton Engineering School professor of innovation invented the Hydropanel, the key to SOURCE’s technology, and continues to teach part-time at the university. He is also a fellow at both the NGO Aspen Institute, which is committed to realizing a free, just and equitable society, and also at Unreasonable – an entity composed of entrepreneurs, institutions and investors dedicated to “discover profit in solving global problems.”Frieson was also previously founder, president and CTO of rechargeable zinc battery startup Fluidic Energy, another of his inventions, where he worked from 2007 to 2013, when it was acquired and became NantEnergy. In 2019, Freison won the Lemelson-MIT Student Prize for innovations to benefit the world – the US’ most prestigious student innovation award with a $500,000 prize. Frieson holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Xu Yingqi has over a decade of work experience in the gaming, pharmaceutical and finance sectors. He joined an online gaming company named 5173 in 2003 and expanded the team from 20 to 3,000 employees, increasing the yearly GMV from US$3m to more than US$1.5bn. Xu then joined a pharmaceutical company named 818 in 2009, helping over 300 pharmacies go online. The company's business grew 248% annually under his leadership. In 2003, Xu started financial services platform 658 that generated RMB1.3bn worth of transactions. In 2015, he went on to establish Yidianling, an online mental health consultancy.

The Tsinghua University graduate with an MS from the University of Buffalo and PhD in engineering from Stanford University was invited by Wang Jing, senior vice president of Baidu, to start Baidu Research US. In 2015, he was promoted to Baidu's Chief Architect in charge of R&D of autonomous driving. At the end of 2016, Peng left Baidu and co-founded Pony.ai with another ex-Baidu employee, the coding whiz, Lou Tiancheng.

John Carbajal is a co-founder and CTO of Kantox, a foreign currency exchange management platform. He is currently based in Barcelona. Carbajal is a software engineer by profession, having previously worked at Intel in the US and HP in Spain and later as Vice President of Engineering at Digital Vision.
