Lara Vidreiro graduated in Business Management and Administration at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2012. At the age of 21, she started her first business Style in a Box with co-founder and college friend Filipa Neto when they struggled to find dresses for a gala. In 2014, she pivoted her business model into a designer clothing rental platform Chic by Choice. She was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2018: Retail and E-commerce. Vidreiro also joined A2D Consulting in Lisbon as e-commerce and digital senior consultant in November 2017.

Since March 2017, Andrés Garrido Piñero has been working as a consultant at Altair Management Consultants in Barcelona, specializing as a digital transformation and blockchain advisor. He graduated as an Aerospace engineer from the Universidad de Sevilla in 2008 and has worked as a design engineer in Spain and the US for over six years.He completed an international MBA at the IE Business School in Madrid in 2016 and became the CEO and co-founder of ChainGoTech SL in November 2017. ChainGo is a blockchain-powered platform that can be used to build logistics solutions for the industry.

David Martín-Corral is an industrial engineer with a PhD in Mathematical Engineering, focusing on complex systems, viral computing and machine learning.He has worked as an associate lecturer teaching classes in social network analysis, digital health and data visualization, and in R programming for top-notch Spanish universities such as CIFF Business School, the IE Business School and Carlos III University in Madrid.Martín-Corral was also the founder of Polibot, the popular chatbot for Telegram and Facebook. In 2018, he co-founded Zensei with Carlos Hernando, a virtual clinic app aimed at preventing and assisting users in their management of respiratory problems. Both founders are currently mentoring startups as part of the Tetuan Valley Network.

Yang Kaikai graduated in 2013, majoring in English Language and Literature at Shanghai Ocean University.In March 2016, she joined Tencent Incubator to work as a marketing and business development manager. She left Tencent in October 2016 and co-founded Energo Labs as COO, responsible for the strategic and global expansion of the company in Asia. In September 2018, Yang also co-founded Dipole Tech, a blockchain-based renewable energy management and trading platform.Yang is co-chair of the Energy Blockchain Leadership Committee and founded the Asian Cleantech Entrepreneurs Community (ACTEC) to connect entrepreneurs focusing on sustainable development and the environment. In 2019, she was nominated as one of 600 entrepreneurs 30 under 30 by the Forbes China.

Sergi Roca Puertas obtained a bachelor’s degree (2014) and a master’s (2016) in Industrial Technology Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His master’s included Industrial Engineering at Finland’s Tampere University of Technology, where he participated in the research of glass fibers.In 2016, he also studied Foreign Trade, Logistics and Supply Management at Euroinnova Business School in Granada and completed work experience as a trading engineer at Madrid-based KL2B.Currently based in San Francisco bay area, he has been working as a deployment strategist at AI-powered analytics and marketing startup Jetlore in Silicon Valley since November 2016. In 2017, he co-founded Plant on Demand (POD) as CTO with an office in Ireland.

Bernat Añaños Martínez is co-founder and Chief Social Movement Officer of Spanish plant-based meat startup, Foods for Tomorrow, where he has worked since 2017.  He was previously CMO and Chief Growth Officer. A committed vegan and environmentalist, Añaños, worked briefly in China's EventBank, the first smart event management cloud platform, and in the European Parliament's press office in Brussels. Añaños has a first degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Barcelona, a master’s in Corporate Communication and Public Relations from the UK’s Leeds University and a postgraduate qualification in Digital Marketing from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.He has volunteered at various NGOs for about 13 years.  

Daniel Olea Martín is a software engineer with significant experience in the startup ecosystem where he worked as a senior backend engineer for several years.He is currently CTO and co-founder of Cobee, a fast growing fintech app that helps companies manage employee benefits. Prior to this, he was CTO of another Spanish fintech company, FINN VENTURES.Olea Martín defines his management style as a balance between leadership and hands-on involvement as a way to “empower and motivate engineers and foresee potential troubles that could compromise productivity”. 

Andrea Barber is the Spanish co-founder and CEO of RatedPower, which produces software to automate the design of solar power plants. She has worked there since 2017. She is simultaneously co-founder and podcaster at Vostok 6, a Spanish podcast about women in business. Prior to RatedPower, Andrea spent six years working in business development at renewable energy company Solida, based largely in Brazil and Chile, where she had the idea for her later startup. She also spent time in Brazil at the Spanish Chamber of Business and Industry, and at Henkel in San Francisco, working in business intelligence and marketing. She holds a degree in Business Management from Carlos III University of Madrid.

Argentinian native Nicolas Araujo Müller is co-CEO and co-founder at Psquared, Spain’s first flexible workplace management and design company for hybrid workspaces. He has worked there since its foundation in April 2018, originally as part of startup hub CoBuilder, and is now its CFO.  He is also a part-time advisor and investor at startup development agency We Are Grit, since its launch in 2020.Earlier, Araujo was CFO and co-founder at digital talent agency Bandit, for two years, until 2017. Before that, he held the same roles at his previous Barcelona-based startup, Nubelo, another tech recruitment agency for freelancers, between 2012 and 2016, when it was acquired by Freelancer.com.  In 2016, Araujo was a visiting professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona on digital economy.His first startup was Work At Home in Argentina, where he was a co-founder for two years from 2011–13, for which he won local innovation prizes. Prior to this, Araujo held various management consultancy roles, working in business analysis and research at Ernst & Young, Standard & Poor’s and Accenture, from 2008–2012, and completed a stint at the US embassy in Buenos Aires. He is also a founding member of Argentina’s entrepreneur organization, ASEA, established in 2013. Araujo holds a degree in economics from CEMA University, Buenos Aires and a qualification from Harvard University in negotiation. In 2017 and 2013, Araujo was named in Forbes Argentina’s 30 Promesas list of young entrepreneurs.

UK-based venture capital firm Notion Capital was established in 2009 by SaaS firm MessageLabs founders Stephen Chandler and Jos White. MessageLabs was sold to Symantec for US$700 million the year before. Notion focuses on European enterprise software startups and has about US$350 million under management. The company has invested in 50 startups with a special emphasis on SaaS and Cloud-based applications. It has managed 10 exits to date including Adbrain and NewVoiceMedia. Founding partner of China Bridge Capital, Zeng Qiang used to be nominated the Most Influential Chinese IT Leader by TIME in 1998. He founded Sparkice, one of the first B2B e-commerce platforms in China, in 1996. He co-founded LeTV CBC Buyout Fund, Wumei CBC Buyout Fund, iCarbonX CBC Buyout Fund, E-China Alliance, and Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum. Zeng Qiang received his Master of Economic Management in Tsinghua University and Master of Financial Economics in The University of Toronto. He also serves as the guest professor at the Business School of Tsinghua.

Serial entrepreneur Bernardo Hernández entered the tech startup scene with his first internet venture idealista.com that has now transformed into a leading real estate platform in Spain. Since then, he has invested in well-known names in the Spanish digital market like Spain’s popular social network Tuenti, local free classified ads Wallapop and on-demand delivery app Glovo. Hernández was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Universidad Camilo José Cela from Madrid when he was the Product Management director at Google in 2010. In September 2017, he became the executive chairman at Citibox.

Wu received his bachelor's in Tourism Management from Nanjing University in 1995. His background is in e-commerce. Wu was one of the original founders of Luoji Siwei, but he left the company in 2013. His current business venture is Context Lab, a corporate services platform. Wu participated in Kuaipeilian's seed funding round.

Guangkong Zhongying Capital was founded in August 2016 by China Everbright, a state-owned enterprise that engages mainly in banking, securities, insurance and investment management, and Focus Media, the operator of the largest out-of-home advertising network in China. It invests mainly in the sectors of consumption upgrade, recreation, corporate services, fintech and artificial intelligence.
