It also has a portfolio of plant-based public shares and features a team of vegan expert investors and business leaders. Its founder, Måns Ullerstam, owns a third of the company. In 2017, Eydt went back to work as a junior manager at family-owned Hotel Eydt in Kirchheim.Currently based in Copenhagen, he is now the CEO and co-founder of Danish alt-leather biotech, Beyond Leather Materials, that produces vegan leather materials from apple waste.
