Founded by Wally Davis and Thomas J Davis Jr in 1969, the VC is based in Menlo Park, California.Current investments include CRISPR-focused companies like Mammoth Biosciences and biotech startup iLoF,l which is focused on creating a digital library of optical fingerprints for non-invasive patient screening, early diagnostics and personalized medical treatments..
