Being the first investment group in Zhejiang province to list on the NEEQ market, ZSVC has over 30 funds under its management today, amounting to nearly RMB 40 billion. Founded in October 2015, Pagoda Investment is a private equity firm focusing on TMT, consumer products, healthcare and education. Its key investors include Queensland Investment Corporation Limited, a Queensland-based Australian VC, and some European-based family funds as well as pension funds, with a total of RMB 5bn under management. 

Established in January 2015, Riverhead Capital Investment Management Co., Ltd. is among the first batch of insurance private equity fund pilot units approved by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission. With assets under management of RMB 17 billion, it mainly invests in medical, pharmaceutical, Internet, innovative financial services and other fields.

CMS Zhiyuan Capital Co Ltd was founded in August 2009. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Securities, with a registered capital of RMB 2.1 billion. Operating as a private equity firm, it is ranked amongst the top private funds in China with assets under management exceeding RMB 20 billion.

As an early investment fund, Jifu Venture Capital invested in Guangfa Securities, Liaoning Chengda and other companies. It has realized returns of more than 2,000% for its shareholders. Jifu Venture Capital was authorized by the Shenzhen city government in September 2004.

Founded in October 2014 in Hangzhou, Demonow Capital focuses on local early stage internet startups. In order to better serve startups and entrepreneurs, Demonow set up an incubator to provide early stage startups with professional services.

SVB Financial Group has been involved in Asian markets since the early 1990s and in the Chinese market since 1999. For more than a decade, SVB has been building relationships with technology companies, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to help clients work with businesses in Asia and sell to a variety of foreign markets. SVB established its first China subsidiary, SVB Business Partners Shanghai, in 2005 and its second, SVB Business Partners Beijing, in 2010. They provide local technology companies and venture capital investors with in-market client service support and advisory services.

Hai Quan Fund is founded by Hu Haiquan (a famous singer in China). It now manages over 1.3bn RMB and has invested in more than 40 startups in 3 years. 

Founded in 2017, Oceanpine Capital  focuses on investment opportunities in the TMT, consumption upgrade, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. Oceanpine Capital  mainly invest in private companies with rapid growth, but also look at some opportunities in public companies. HQ in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and San Francisco.

Orient Hontai Capital is a subsidiary of Shanghai Orient Securities Capital. HQ is in Beijing.Founded in 2014, it has invested in many companies both in and outside China and mainly focuses on TMT and healthcare areas. Cases closed includes: 1. Invest Shanda games, $430MM, 23% shares, Sep. 2014;2. Acquire CMGE and delist it from Nasdaq, $365MM, 48% shares, July 2015;3. Acquire FunPlus game business, $288MM, 32% shares, Sep. 2015;

Bonsai VC invests in Spanish startups with global ambitions and mobile-focused business models. The founders and managers, including Javier Cebrián Monereo, Javier Cebrián Sagarriga, Luis González Buendía and Rafael Gutierrez de Calderón; own approximately 60% of the VC share capital.

Established in July 2009, GP Capital was co-funded by Shanghai International Group, Jiangsu Shagang Group, Huatai Securities and Hengdian Group. It specializes in establishing and managing industrial investment funds and private equity funds. GP Capital manages the RMB 20 billion Shanghai Financial Development Investment Fund. The Fund was sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government with approval from the State Council and National Development and Reform Commission. Half of GP Capital's investment has gone to financial firms. It also invests in sectors such as consumer products, healthcare, new energy, culture, etc.

Plug and Play, the world’s largest startup accelerator, is a seed and early-stage investment firm. Based in Silicon Valley, Plug and Play invests in more than 160 of the 5,000 startups it reviews every year and runs industry-specific accelerator programs to help the startups it funds grow faster.

Freesfund was founded in 2015 by Li Feng and Lin Zhonghua, both former partners at International Data Group. In 2016, Freesfund managed RMB 3.6 billion.

With almost 20 years’ experience, ChinaEquity Group is one of the first Chinese investment firms. It was founded by Wang Chaoyong, a former child prodigy and one of the first Chinese people to study abroad and work on Wall Street as a banker. ChinaEquity Group invests in TMT, high-end consumption, internet, etc.
