ONES Ventures is a venture capital firm run primarily by people in their 30s with overseas experience. It invests mainly in early-stage startups aimed at young people. ONES Ventures cooperates extensively with the Thiel Fellowship.

Founded by famous angel investor Cai Wensheng, founder and chairman of Meitu, Longling Capital is an equity investment firm that invests primarily in early-stage tech startups.

Plug and Play, the world’s largest startup accelerator, is a seed and early-stage investment firm. Based in Silicon Valley, Plug and Play invests in more than 160 of the 5,000 startups it reviews every year and runs industry-specific accelerator programs to help the startups it funds grow faster.

Founded in 2013, Gaorong Capital is based in Beijing, with an additional office in Hong Kong. It invests primarily in early-stage and growth-stage startups in the TMT sector. Engage Capital was set up by social media platform YY Inc.’s investment department. The equity fund invests primarily in TMT, entertainment and consumer products. Engage Capital manages a USD fund and an RMB fund. 

Toutiao is a mobile news aggregation platform. It has invested in over 30 startups for financial and strategic reasons. Because Toutiao requires a lot of content, it has invested heavily in content-based startups such as AI Era, Kuaikan, etc. It also invests in social media platforms and similar content providers, e.g., Dailyhunt.in, Flipagram and Musical.ly. 

1st Road Capital Management was founded in 2016. Its focus is early-stage investments. 1st Road Capital Management has funded big data platform Palm Science and virtual reality game producer Multiverse, among others.

YI Capital was founded in 2014 by Chen Wenjiang and Li Muqing, both formerly of CDH Investments. YI Capital’s investment focuses are housing, finance, automotive, express delivery, e-commerce and lifestyle. It manages around RMB 2.5 billion in capital.

Founded in 1996, Index Ventures is a venture capital firm based in London, Jersey, Geneva and San Francisco. It has 35,000 employees worldwide working to manage a portfolio of 160 companies across 24 countries.

Headed by the influential Beatriz González, the only woman to helm a VC firm in Spain, Seaya Ventures invests in early-stage startups looking toward international growth, especially in Latin America. Beatriz González is also the daughter of Francisco González Rodríguez, the chairman of Spain’s second largest bank BBVA.

Singapore's government-owned investor has a net portfolio value of just over S$300bn, with assets mainly in Asia and Singapore. In recent years it has begun investing in internet and tech companies in emerging markets, including in neighboring Indonesia and other Asian countries.As a state investor, Temasek aligns its investment portfolio and goals with areas that are relevant to Singapore’s national agenda. For example, to mitigate and reduce the effects of climate change, Temasek has set a commitment to reduce the carbon emissions of its portfolio companies, and invest in companies providing decarbonization solutions. It is also investing in biotechnology, medical technology, agritech and foodtech companies, which are some new focus areas in Singapore’s industrial development.

Founded in 2015, GaoZhang Capital invests exclusively in new media. With RMB 300 million assets under management, it had invested in 35 projects as of the end of 2017.

Shanghai Songheng Network Technology Co., Ltd., is an internet software company founded in 2014. It has registered capital of RMB 11.6 million and annual turnover of hundreds of millions of RMB. It specializes in design, R&D and operation and marketing of internet-based products.

Beijing Weijing Culture Development Co., Ltd., was founded on November 13, 2014.

Founded in 2010, People.cn Co., Ltd., publishes online news in China and abroad. Its information exchange platform People.cn is the online portal of the People's Daily, the Chinese Communist Party’s official newspaper. It was listed on China's A-share market in 2012. The company makes investments in early-stage media startups.
